Woubrugge Logies - Private Chalet in The Green Heart

This cosy, private chalet is perfectly located in The Green Heart of The Netherlands. By car only half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Gouda or the beaches. Woubrugge itself is a lovely small town along a characteristic canal that ends up in lake Braassemermeer. Sail, surf, swim, rent a motorboat, explore the beautiful surroundings by biking or hiking or relax in the garden. The chalet is a studio (40m2); comfortable for 2 persons. As the sofa bed can be transformed to a double bed the chalet is also suitable for young families or a group of friends. The chalet has one room (studio: 40m2) with a private bathroom. There is a double bed (size 210 x 160 cm) and a sofabed (size 200 x 140 cm). In the studio you will find a tv, a table with 4 chairs and a completely equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, toaster and a coffee-machine (coffee, tea and Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) are included in the price). A microwave for the guests is in the barn, next to the chalet. In this barn guests may park also their (rental) bikes or a pram. There is enough space for 4 persons, but do realize that you share the same room. The chalet is facing South, so you can enjoy the sun all day. And if you prefer to sit in the shade, you can sit under the large parasol. You will also find a cosy veranda to relax on and a lawn with fruit trees. Guests may use the chairs in front of the house on the riverside quay where you can sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the spectacle of boats passing by. The chalet offers complete privacy. However, if you have any question or special wishes, we are most of the time in the neighbourhood or we can be reached by telephone. We love to help our guests and have a chat with them, if they like. Woubrugge is a small town half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, and beaches. Follow the canal to The Braassemermeer, a lake which offers sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Bike, hike, and rent a motorboat to explore further afield. If you come by car: there are enough public parkingplaces near to the chalet. (for free). Public transport: Woubrugge can easily be reached by bus from Leiden Central Station. But also from Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport there is a good connection by train/speedbus. Woubrugge is part of several beautiful hiking and biking routes, so for hikers and bikers Woubrugge is a perfect place for a stay over night or for a longer period. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet! There are games and on request we can prepare boxes with various toys for children aged 2-12. On the riverside quay you find a fine bakery. Apart from buying fresh bread and rolls there, you can have a coffee and pastries on the terrace overlooking the canal. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Disgenoten. Also this restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the waterside.

Recently renovated comfortable house (64m2) at the water in the green heart of Holland, surrounded by windmills and cows right across the canal. Close to the main cities and the Kaag lakes: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Zandvoort, Keukenhof 30, Schiphol-airport 15, Leiden 10 mins by car. During winter the house is also warm and cosy with floor heating. 4 canoes are available for you. Boats can be rented in the area, rental bikes delivered to the house. Free parking. Not suitable for non-swimmers.

Dit mooie, compleet ingerichte huis in boederijstijl, ligt aan de Kagerplassen in de buurt van Amsterdam en Leiden. Het heeft twee slaapkamers, een badkamer met een toilet en nog een apart toilet. Ruime lichte studio op de begane grond gelegen aan de rivier de Rijn in Oud Leiderdorp. Eine sehr schöne und ruhige Unterkunft, die genau der Beschreibung entspricht. Richard und Deborah waren sehr nett, hilfsbereit und haben uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist sehr schön gestaltet und bietet eine gute Möglichkeit zum Kochen. Gute Verkehrsanbindung nach Amsterdam, Den Haag und Rotterdam. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können den Aufenthalt bei Richard und Deborah nur weiter empfehlen :).

Der Aufenthalt bei Robbert hat uns sehr gefallen! Das Hausboot hat unsere Vorstellungen übertroffen, es war sehr modern und hübsch eingerichtet und perfekt für ein verlängertes Wochenende ausgestattet. Der Check in und Check out war super organisiert und vor allem die einfache Kommunikation hat uns gut gefallen. Zusätzlich kam während unseres Aufenthalts der Besitzer vorbei um bei starkem Wind und Regen nach dem Rechten zu schauen. Wir würden gerne bald wiederkommen!!

Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei 17-jährige Jugendliche) haben vier wunderbare Tage auf dem Hausboot Blauw verbracht. Das Boot hat eine faszinierende Geschichte – war auf Nord- und Ostsee, über den Atlantik unterwegs – liegt heute ruhig, idyllisch im kleinen Hafen von Warmond vor Anker. Die Aussicht auf den Wasserweg und die gegenüberliegende Polderfläche ist traumhaft, offen, weit, unverbaut. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, entspannend, erholsam. Leise, langsam fahren tagsüber Boote vorbei. Morgens, ab späterem Nachmittag ist man für sich. Zu hören ist dann nur Natur - Bäume, Gräser, Vögel, Frösche. Nachts ruhig zum Schlafen. Das Boot ist geschmackvoll, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist in hervorragendem, toll renoviertem Zustand, mit vielen Originalgegenständen, so dass wir Landratten uns als Seefahrer fühlten. Abends war es sehr entspannt und stimmungsvollauf Deck in den Loungemöbeln bei dezenter Beleuchtung. Ein besonderes Urlaubserlebnis, wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

great place and great location. FYI steep flight of stairs which would be very difficult for people with injuries/disabilities/etc. cool space with clearly a lot of thought/intention put into the design and renovation of the space. it's very cool but not really cozy. very comfortable bed, slept great, but be aware the street outside has cars/bikes/motorcycles passing which could disrupt sensitive sleepers. remote workers: - internet worked well enough for two people to have video meetings simultaneously however because of loft style set up there's noise spillage from one room to the next - only one desk and it's more decorative vs somewhere to comfortably work from
