Vacation rentals in Homer

I highly recommend the Little House in the Woods if you are in the Ruston area! My husband and I were in town for a baseball series against LaTech and travelling with a pet. The house was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we and our pooch needed. I loved relaxing on the front screened porch in the evenings. It's a very quick ride to Ruston for restaurants and stores. Also want to add that everyone in the area was so friendly!

Steve was super quick to respond to any questions and even helped us out to add an extra day to our stay on short notice! The place was plenty large to have a small group and was quite comfortable. The back yard view from the living was also very pleasant! Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!

This has been the most thoroughly enjoyable rental we have ever stayed in! If you have no reason whatsoever to go to Haynesville, go anyway! Book this house and soak up all the wholesome farmhouse charm your soul needs! It has big windows to take in all the wholesome heartwarming scenery, and stunning second floor views. The dogs are the most well-mannered greeters. They don't bark when you pull up, they greet you with wagging tails and will happily accept head scratches if offered but they don't impose. Every inch of this property is so therapeutic and good for the soul! Mr. Glenn, our host, was extremely attentive, welcoming and hospitable! Just the best experience! Mary is the most welcoming and attentive host we have ever dealt with on Airbnb. It is obvious that her Priority is a safe and comfortable stay for her guests. It is the most well-equipped kitchen I have ever encountered as a guest! The lakefront property is absolutely gorgeous, and we can’t wait to return and stay a little longer when it is warmer.

The place is lovely, location is beautiful. We stayed there with family to attend a wedding. Has a great time. Wishing we had arrived a couple of days sooner to just chill in this gorgeous location.

I took my 3 sons, 19, 16, and 12, and it was just the weekend I wanted - unplugged! The kids kayaked, swam, played football in the yard. I read a book in the hammock. We ate gumbo on the back porch. I had what I needed in the kitchen. It was a great weekend! I will definitely stay again!

My mom passed right before Christmas and Kia allowed us an early check in and made accommodations for us to stay much longer than the original reservation. This allowed us to make arrangements and attend her service with no worries about were we would stay. The place felt like home and was more than enough space for us to grieve and celebrate Christmas. Everything was clean and like new. Snacks were provided and the home had everything we needed to be comfortable. Thank you!
