The cabin is located in a small cabin area between Glåmos and Brekken overlooking Aursunden 692 m above sea level; about 200 m from county road 705. It was built in 1992 and has running water and electricity. The cabin is 72 sqm, with combined living room and kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, hallway, utility room, storage room and loft. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, microwave, extractor, kettle, but no dishwasher, and is otherwise equipped for about 10 people. The bathroom has a shower cabin and sink, and in the storage room there is a trash can and freezer. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, 150 cm wide Bedrooms 2 and 3 have family bunk beds, 125 and 75 cm wide. All beds have top mattresses. On the loft there are 3 extra mattresses. There is a TV and DVD player in the cabin. Heating with electric ovens and a woodstove. The cabin has a large terrace with outdoor furniture. In winter, the snow is cleared all the way to the entrance, and ski tracks are made into the birch forest. The cabin is located in a fantastic, idyllic location and views at 850 meters above sea level. It is a short walk from the cabin to the tree line and mountain plateau. The drive to Hessdalen takes about two hours from Trondheim and less than an hour from Røros. The cabin was new in 2011 and has a very high standard. The mountain area is internationally known for a light phenomenon and is located at Forollhogna National Park. State property, with the possibility of hunting nearby. If there is no winter snow grooming, snowmobile rides can be checked upon request.

Bright and pleasant little house that has just received a major upgrade, located on the south side of Lake Aursunden. It is 23 km/20-25 minutes by car to Røros, 8 km to the village Glåmos with grocery store, and 10 km to Olavsgruva. There is always snow here in the winter, and ski tracks lead up to Rørosviddas extensive ski network when conditions allow. Good hiking opportunities in the surrounding area also in summer. There is a year-round road all the way to the house and you can park right outside the door.

Gammelstuggu at Trondsvollen

Welcome to Trondsvollen. Here we rent out the old cabin on the farm for accommodation. The farm has a history dating back to the 17th century. Gammlstuggu has recently been completely restored to preserve the old character from when the house was new. The log cabin is clad from the outside, but on the second floor the old log walls in some of the bedrooms are as they once were. Gammelstuggu takes you back in time while at the same time having access to today's facilities.

Arctic Dome and hot tub

On the shores of Aursunden, in the middle of Rørosvidda, we offer an adventurous overnight stay in Arctic Dome for 2-4 people. It is glamping at a high level, in a great tent of 23 m2 with a skylight in the roof, and a view window towards the lake and the beautiful Vigelfjella. Outside the Dome there is a hot tub available for an additional fee. Food can be ordered: breakfast and dinner packages with small dishes from the Røros region.

Seter

Large seter with lovely views over Øyungen. The farm has solar cells, gas, cabin toilet, wifi and summer water. Simple standard, but contains everything you need to relax and enjoy the mountain air. The mountain farm is easily accessible about 30 minutes by car from FV 30. Øyungsvegen is a toll road and costs NOK 100 for a passenger car. In winter the road is closed, and you need a snowmobile or skis to get there.

Rent a small cabin with decent standard. Electricity and water, large porch with sun from early morning to late night. 2 bedrooms with 2 bunks and a double bed.
