De Oude Smederij

Enjoy and relax in the Frisian countryside? This is possible with us in De Oude Smederij, which was formerly a forge but has been completely renovated into a comfortable vacation home. The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Two bedrooms with Auping mattresses, fully equipped kitchen and a 680 m² private garden with deck deck. The sea dyke is within walking distance. Holwerd (ferry Ameland) 20 minutes, Harlingen (Vlieland/Terschelling) 30 minutes.

In the summer months, there is free access to the outdoor swimming pool "De Schalken". The home is pet free.

The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south.
