Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hoeksche Waard

We chose Sylvia's house to spend our second week in the Netherlands. The house is located in a beautiful bungalow park and offers tranquility, a great, large garden and is very well equipped. Ouddorp is a beautiful place with excellent infrastructure. The area is really great: everything is very close and you can easily reach it by bike. A fantastic network of bike paths awaits you and you can ride great tours every day. The beach is clean and spacious. There are also very nice places in the area waiting to be discovered. Rest, relaxation and activity. This is how our vacation with Sylvia can be summarized.

Nice quiet place in a beautiful setting. You can cycle to the North Sea beach and to the Grevelingen. The cottage is located in a quiet holiday park. In the morning you wake up to the sound of the birds chirping. The kitchen is quite small but well equipped. The garden is very large and has several seats so you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset.

A very enjoyable short stay. Loved the accommodation. Quirky, interesting and comfortable. The extensive gardens were amazing and included a castle ruin. Our host was really helpful. A good location for exploring the surrounding ares such as Delft and Dortrecht. Would highly recommend.

Had a great getaway! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't perfect, but: Men's vacation without our wives... wonderful... (hopefully they won't read this)! The house is very quiet and offers all amenities. Unfortunately, there are no shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity - you have to be mobile (bicycle or car). Therefore, my suggestion to Robert: bicycles would be perfect! Good thing I brought my own. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! Definitely recommend.

The house is an historical Dutch house, direct on a canal- absolutely quiet, charming neighborhood with chickens next door and a wonderful bakery right around the corner. The kitchen is on the ground floor, an elegant living- and dining room on the first floor with hardwood floors. Then VERY steep stairs (not for the weak of heart, small children or people with knee problems) going up to the 2nd floor with a big master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds (not really good for us, a group of five 68-72 yr old women) and a nice bathroom with plenty of room. The top floor had a „double“ bed, but too narrow for two of us, and a small bath. I think 6 adults would be a tight squeeze in the house unless they‘re all young and cozy with each other. Schidam is a charming suburb of R‘damm, where we never would have gone if we hadn’t booked the house there. All in all, a WONDERFUL house and well worth the extra travel to and from R‘damm.

Beautiful accommodation for a few days to visit Zeeland. We were here for the first time but felt very much at home. The kitchen was very well equipped with cookware and was very neat. The house is in a kind of holiday park but is also permanently inhabited. It is nice and quiet and has a beautiful garden. So if you really want to come for your peace of mind, you're in the right place. Contact was perfect and fast. Definitely recommend the cottage.

Fantastic place with fantastic host. Sebastiaan is the most easy going land lord, very communicative and helpful. For sure we will come back everytime when in in town. Best recommendation from us.

The apartment was as described and looked exactly like the pictures. The host was always responsive, he was really helpful in making us feel at home.

Relaxing , Lots of Space , one bathroom, Stairs to take . Nice view , central, nice for walks , good to stay with dog, large living room and kitchen . Nice to come together as family or friends . Watch for the church bell near by 😊🤗🥳

The accommodation had everything we needed for our weekend in Zeeland. Everything was in perfect order, with attention to detail: fresh sheets, liquid soaps, and all the basic necessities in the kitchen were provided. But above all: the house was really squeaky clean — a pleasure to arrive in! Our children (14 and 16) are now a bit big for the park itself, but in the area there is plenty to do. The apartment is therefore ideal for families with younger children, who will certainly find their liking in the facilities and the location.

We rented Silvia's house for 9 days and it's very tastefully decorated. You can cook and prepare small things well and the terrace is very nice. As a starting point for trips to Rotterdamm, Delft and Gouda, it is very convenient. We will be happy to come back! Delia & Marco

Carola welcomed us lovingly, showed us everything and gave recommendations for the area, restaurants etc. At the weekend we got cakes and there was a great wine to welcome us. Carola was very interested in making us feel good and like it. We will be happy to come back.

Very friendly and proactive host who was always easy to contact and always responded quickly to questions. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the weekend in the apartment very much. The location is very nice and invites you to relax with a nice view on the water. Highly recommended!

The place was very nice. Lots of space, relatively modern and cozy. It was a pity that there was no oven even though this is in the advertisement. The positive thing was that there were two instead of just one shower. In addition, it may be important to know that the beds only have double ceilings. Unfortunately, the location was very disappointing, nothing works without a car! Nevertheless, you can have a nice vacation there. :)

Super nice cottage for our family weekend! Everything is still completely new and beautifully finished, with a lot of attention to sustainability — even the toilets flush with rainwater (and if that runs out, there is also a smart solution for that). Nice contact with the host, but thanks to the personal access code we could arrive flexibly. The garden is wonderfully quiet and plenty to do for children. We had a great weekend!

We stayed at Caroline's place for a weekend away with friends. The house is absolutely beautiful: fantastic kitchen, large living room, great beds and showers. The heated pool was lovely on Sunday morning, after an evening out in Breda (just 15 min away by car).

We had a great time. We loved the place, everything was perfect as in the photos. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and good location. We really enjoyed the amenities like sauna and bikes. The hosts are very kind and communication was easy and efficient.

Nice stay. Very quiet area in a beautiful cottage. No facilities for children, but if you are not looking for this, this is a top stay. Very quiet and beautiful. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff were not friendly, otherwise everything was well arranged.
