Everything is perfect. We, my two daughters and I, had a very nice stay. The house was exactly as described. Super great communication with the landlord. He also made a lot of effort for our arrival. They are people you would like to meet in person, very quiet location. Will definitely come back again. Nothing negative to say.

We really enjoyed the hosts!!! Responded instantly to inquiries!!! Very very warm people!!! The home is sustainable and cozy, we could have fired up the fireplace in the evenings, an infinitely beautiful view through the windows!!! Peaceful environment and we were able to feel at home!!! Thank you so much!!!

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

We had a brilliant week. The apartment is really well equipped with everything we needed, fantastic views down the valley and super handy for the slopes right outside the door and great that we were able to bring our dog too. Charlotte was really quick to get back to us with any queries we had, and we’d love to come back again another year.

Lovely surroundings by a super functional cabin! Would love to come back! Here you can stay peacefully alone, and at the same time with the extended family. Plenty of space in the main cabin, with everything needed ++. Annex w/sleeping area and small kitchen/living room right by the main cabin . The outhouse was more than good enough, located in its own room in a room, with lots of wood and aggregate for electricity available. All rooms are furnished for well-being, thoughtful, and smart solutions. Large patio with perfect space for all kinds of weather. The view is impeccable. Raw and wild nature! Many opportunities such as fishing, mountain hiking, paddle board, rowing tour, barbecue, swimming, skiing, etc. Sjøormen Selma is about 40 minutes by car away, at Seljord. Great for the youngest with history and visits. The convenience store open 24/7 is about 20 min by car. Many stores of various kinds in the center of Seljord, where you will find everything you need ++. This is a gem in the mountains, and perfect getaway from town(s). Recommended, definitely!

We were on tembuilding and enjoyed two days, despite bad weather. The place is suitable for many, even if you have to be inside. Everything was tidy and ready when we arrived, and we have got quick answers to what we were wondering about ahead of time. Have already decided to come back

We had a wonderful holiday in the house. Everything was nicely clean upon arrival and matched descriptions and photos. Bård is a very friendly host. He has made a nice guide about the house as well as many suggestions for local hikes, sights, etc. Shopping is within a 15-minute drive, but somewhat further to big cities. A lovely home for nature lovers.

Sure! Here’s the translation: I believe that if someone is looking for happiness, they can find it in this house. A place full of peace, harmony, charm, and magic. Jan and Cecilia, the owners, were perfect: kind, attentive, friendly—they responded to everything we needed and were incredibly warm and helpful, even allowing us to live unique experiences with the dogs and sleds. The house has all kinds of amenities and more. It is beautifully decorated and exudes a very cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Without a doubt, it’s a place to return to. We can only say thanks to them because they allowed us to increase our happiness and moments that we’ll treasure forever.

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

Ine and Per were wonderful hosts! Very helpful and friendly. The house was wonderful with everything we needed and a beautiful outdoor space for kids! We would have loved to have our grand daughters, who live in Bø, come over to play but it was too rainy while we were there. We would definitely stay here next time we come to Norway!!

New (2021) modern cottage in the heart of Gaustablikk

The 'hytte' is fantastic, very comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. There are many little streams gurgling by, one about five feet from the porch. We had a fire pit and watched the blue slowly drain from the sky. There are three bed rooms so you can bring a large crew. We recommend it highly!

We had a great stay is this little museum. Friendly host with lots of knowledge and stories about the area and the house. If you expect a hotel room, don’t go here. If you want peace and quiet in a great historical setting with all the creature comforts. Try this.

Great old farmhouse with flair in a dream location on the slope with view on the valley and the lake. Very nice terrace to eat in the sun. Everything you need, a wild mix of old and modern. Only we didn't like the bathroom so much. Old and simple, but it serves its purpose. The value for money is great! I'd be happy to come back!!

Everything you need at a cabin and value for money. Cozy hosting. We had a 2 year old and there was plenty to see along the way down to the river for him. Lots of exciting small animals and fish fry in the river.

We had a wonderful stay at the holiday home. The house is clean, spacious and cozy furnished. We very much enjoyed the walk to the top of the Bonsnos, the climb to the Gaustatoppen and views over the lake from the veranda.
