Hotel vacation rentals in Himalayas

We are a group of 3 families with kids. The place was better than we expected and we had loads of fun. It's a well developed property with nice views of the mountains. It is right in between Nainital and Mukteshwar. The staff was courteous and prompt. We had the pleasure of meeting with the owner Mr. Ashok and he was gracious and helpful. Must visit place !

It was a wonderful stay at Kumar‘s place. We enjoyed it so much and we loved the atmosphere and surrounding of his place. The room had everything we needed and was well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and Kumar helped us with everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend. We stayed already once in his place and will definitely come back if we are back in Chitwan.

One of my best stays and trips ever. The cottage is so comfortable and feels cozy. The porch outside overlooks the entire valley and the hills on the other side. The host’s family is so nice. Damchoe and her family made such delicious Bhutanese food for me and showed such hospitality and kindness and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Highly recommend.

We visited here for two days, along with our pet dog. It was my dog’s first trip. This stay was exactly what we had hoped for. The way they have maintained this place simply and beautifully, it felt like home. The care taker and the cook were proactive and very polite towards our needs. We would definitely wish to visit again.

We booked Harshit’s place for 2 nights on New years. I did the booking very hastily, just going by the reviews. But after visiting the place, i can say that it surpassed all of our expectations. 2 days at Old British house turned out be just the kind of escape we had been looking for. We were mesmerised by the old, rustic charm of this place and how well it is preserved over generations. Rooms were spacious with artfully decorated corners, clean beddings and neat bathroom. This was more like a bonding vacation for the kids ( 4 year old & 6 year old) who were meeting after a year. And at Old British house we didn’t had to take any extra effort to keep them busy. They enjoyed early morning encounters with monkeys, spotted new birds, climbed mango tress and ran around the spacious lawn. Bon fires & start gazing at night were great too. A very special mention to mr. Raj for accommodating all of our requests. Thank you Sehgal family for a memorable stay. Looking forward to visit again.

1000 characters won’t be able to summarise the goodness of JD bhai, his family, and his abode. There stay shimmers purity and so do the smiling faces of his family. For me, it’s about people as much as it’s about the place… their tranquil eco lodge amidst the pristine beauty of Jibhi compliments the beauty in their hearts. The Host The Architect The Perfectionist “Chetan” has lots to offer. The property is exceptionally designed by the host himself. The rooms are class apart. It seems they have been specially curated for you only. The washrooms have luxury bath fittings. The restaurant is coming up very nicely. It gives you feel of tranquility alongwith Royalty. The staff is courteous helpful and jovial Chetan’s Better Half “Rose” will be there to greet you and you can see her plucking fresh vegetables from their garden to make fresh salads and vegetables for you. Its proximity to The Mayfair and Queens pod make it even more worth staying. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by natural beauty that made our trip truly memorable. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay — they really made us feel at home. One of the biggest highlights for us was the 24/7 pool facility. It was a major attraction, especially for me and my family, and we thoroughly enjoyed it at all hours of the day. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended — we would love to visit again!

It’s like a deal where you get better than what you hope for. Amazing place, your room will be just 15 steps from a stream and one can even put his/her feet in the water and enjoy a cuppa. The food they have in their menu is amazing as well i had much rather preferred to enjoy my evenings i. The property rather than walking to nearby cafes. Only downside is their driveway which is steep and not properly maintained.

We had a great stay in Pokhara! The hotel has a traditional feeling which is in keeping with the building style and the decor of the rooms. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, biking and running around Lakeside. The hotel was well situated and had easy access to many nice restaurants and cafes. The staff were friendly, helpful and hospitable. A couple of minor problems in the room - some light switches didn’t work, little hot water the first day, food was slow to come out at the restaurant, the pool was very cold. However, these small things did not stop us from having a wonderful stay. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!

Great location and looks exactly like the pictures. Lakeside is just a stone’s throw from the resort and there are lots of restaurants and pubs down the road which is in walking distance. They have dance/music programs in the evenings which was lovely. Mahesh was very communicative and easygoing. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this stunning city!

What truly made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality. Mr. Narender, the owner, was incredibly warm, courteous, and helpful throughout. A big thank you to the staff, especially Chandan ji and Gopal ji, who were always present with a smile, ready to help with anything we needed. Their service added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. The food was great too. This property is close to Tehla gate of the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The property is about 2 years old and has a peaceful feel. The 1 km access road is a village path which is not paved . Best for SUV type vehicles . The staff is very responsive . We were provided a fantastic freshly prepared breakfast. The Dinner composed of local Rajasthan dishes was amazing . Overall , we were very happy with our stay . Please ensure you book your safari to start at the Tehla Gate and not Sariska gate which is about 70 kms away .

Quaint place near the lakeside road. Adhikari Ji was humble enough to guide us through our stay and making arrangements for our treks.

Extremely supportive, warm, and friendly hosts who took great care of us throughout our stay. Special mention to Gyatso and his wife, the staff and ofcourse the lovely pets. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. Though it’s a little away from the main town of Pelling, the peace, views, and hospitality make it totally worth it. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Rashi and Pranav’s place in Dharamkot. Check-in was easy, the food was tasty, and the room was very comfortable. The service was really good, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—close to many cafes, McLeodganj, and the main area of Dharamkot. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe. I’d definitely recommend it!

I had a great experience staying at one of the best hotels in Manali. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were top-notch. The room was spacious and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Manali!

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

Great place. Ankit is an amazing host and a very good human being. He was helpful everysingle time we needed him. He made sure we felt right at home.

The most comfortable and comforting home. It's not just a homestay but it feels right at home. I am unfortunately not feeling well and Vikas and his family has been cooking for me, checking in on me. The genuine kindness and care is very special to receive, when you are on the road travelling and feeling unwell. There's everything you need, everything is clean. The decor with plenty of indoor plants, creates such a soft nourishing environment. The layout of the house have pockets of sitting areas with a nice sense of privacy between each room. The shared kitchen is well equipped and there is a small convenience store selling vegetable, just a stone thrown away from the house. Being surrounded by nature is the pure beauty of this place. There's peace and tranquility from the first step of my arrival. I have already booked my return stay and looking forward to enjoying the space again. Gratitude for Vikas and his family's kindness.

Lovely escape from Kathmandu to this small hilltop town. Room has excellent views if weather is good. Pemba is always fast to respond and around for assistance and chat. They serve delicious food from their dining room downstairs. The only negative comment is the noise in the evenings. The locals gather there on weekends and there will be some noise.
