Make memories for a lifetime at this unique and family-friendly place! On beautiful Sommarøya we (family Johnsgård) rent out this great cabin. You will have the magnificent nature right at the front door. It takes you 1 hour to drive from Tromsø airport, about 55 km. We have made a complete manual with user guide for how to use the cottage, this can be found on the dining table upon arrival. In the summer you can experience the sun around the clock (midnight sun), and in autumn/winter you can see the "northern lights" if you are lucky.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Hi :) I have an apartment with amazing view is available for you. You will have bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen room only for you while during staying time😄 The area is perfect for Northern Light, ski and ice fishing in winter. You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request. We have a small dog in our family. Internet fiber
