Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hill County

Visited for a quick weekend getaway and it was just what we needed! Wonderful amenities with the hot tub, fire pit, and yard games! Definitely will book again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway close to waco or for some peace and quiet in the country! Hosts were responsive and helpful with local recommendations!

We enjoyed our weekend stay! We were down for a wedding right at the lake, so it was very convenient for us to be so close. We enjoyed that we got to do an early check-in since we were arriving before our normal scheduled time. Kathryn was very responsive anytime we messaged her and pretty accommodating! We would stay here again, for sure.

great little place to stay that is well worth the noney

Very cozy home nestled in a lakes side community, there’s a boat ramp just within walking distance . The master bedroom has an impressive surprise of a huge tiled walk down in shower. As well as a door that goes straight to the screened in porch I found more than convenient. The parking is plentiful, my team had three vehicles and an enclosed trailer . No issues with space at all there was room for more . You could easily have three full truck and boat rigs parked here maybe 4 . Best part for me was the security on the property, it has cameras all around it which made me feel secure about being there and my possessions being safe outside . I use air bnb on a monthly basis and this is most definitely a property I will use again when in the area . The host is extremely helpful and friendly , I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very communicative owner. Home was perfect for our need to have somewhere close to stay near relatives in Whitney TX. Highly recommend. Stay was during winter but we could imagine this being a fun summer location.

Perfect peaceful place. The cows and chickens and front / back porches were the perfect touch. We loved this cabin. Super comfortable beds, home was super clean and smelled nice when you walked in. Every amenity was available. No complaints at all. The owners live on the property but were not intrusive at all and I felt super safe and comfortable.

My family and I had the best time at Steve's cabin. We have small children and there was lots to do! We went in the Spring, so the wildflowers were in full bloom. We were able to capture some beautiful family photos in an impromptu shoot! The sitting area around the fire was relaxing at night, and we saw deers come up to the feeder. This is such a sweet oasis, and it seems that the neighborhood is very close and friendly. I encourage this Air BnB if you was some quiet R&R. Quality time spent with family!

The house is wonderful! The house is super clean, had everything you could need. The out door area is fantastic too! Lots of sitting areas a stunning view of the lake. Fairly easy to get down to the lake. The kids loved playing down by the water! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful place for my kids to come visit & be close to me. Older home renewed to pioneer woman decor! 3 beds, large recliner & couch gave plenty of room for all to sleep comfortably. Great wifi! Kelly & other members of this Airbnb are AMAZING kind & always close if you need anything

We had a fantastic stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. One of the best parts was the screened in porch. We honestly did not think we would use it much, but it ended up being our favorite spot to hang out with a coffee in the morning or relax in the evening. We are so glad we picked this place and would definitely stay here again.

What a great little escape. Host was proactive in reaching out, provided great instructions, and I imagine is very responsive, but everything was just as described and perfect so we had no need to contact Andrew. House was just as pictured and is a nice little home. Seems bigger inside and the windows offer a nice view and great lighting. The location was amazing with close access to the river and a lot of open green space to play in around the house. We spent our days at the river kayaking and talking to the occasional passerby. Just beautiful and peaceful. The water was a little low so we were able to put our camping chairs on part of the dry riverbed and sit and listen to the birds. At night we sat by the fire pit (smaller pit located in the front yard) and watched all the deer grazing on the other side of the yard. It was a great space and we spent most of the time outdoors enjoying the surroundings. Will be coming back to this nice little retreat.

The cabin was very comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. We couldn't find dish soap or a dishcloth, so the few items we used had to go in the dishwasher. I felt bad running it for so few items. We did make use of the chess set. That was nice. The location is beautiful and quiet. There were restaurants fairly close, so I was able to take a break from cooking. We enjoyed our stay.

It was perfect for what we needed! Stacie was super great and the house has what you need for a good little getaway!
