I had a very nice stay at Lorna’s place. She is a very kind, thoughtful and responsive host. Her place is right near downtown Maplewood which has many great restaurants to choose from. It is also close to the train station if you want to get into Manhattan or other destinations. Her home was very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend Lorna’s place!

Karin’s place exceeded my expectations! The photos are lovely but pale in comparison to the experience of being surrounded by gorgeous artwork, beautiful books, and picturesque nature. This was the perfect cozy and peaceful place for two days of quiet reading and relaxing. If I had had more time I would have explored the many excellent hiking trails nearby. My family and I were extremely pleased with Alan as our host. We had a family emergency and he was able to take us in on extremely short notice and gave us a great deal. Any issues were resolved quickly. The children especially enjoyed their stay on the farm they were able to see the chickens and goats. It was lovely to have access to fresh eggs as well! Alan and Dave went above and beyond for us and even made a sled for the kids when it snowed. I will always look back on the four months there and remember their kindness.

I absolutely love this little cottage. This is our second time staying. It is very cozy, perfect for a couple for the weekend. The property is very quiet and peaceful with the brook running right past the back of the cottage. It is an easy walk into the center of town and the strip with various stores, restaurants, and bars. The cottage was clean, neat, and had all basic necessities. Panxi and Diana are great hosts, available for questions. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this booking.

If you like camping whether it be by tent or in a platform tent or cabin, you will really enjoy this property. Lots or privacy, a place to cook or have a campfire or just sit on the porch and enjoy the summer sounds and the stars. The location is perfect to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Jeffersonville. It is a very short drive to the Bethel Woods Property if you are looking to attend a concert.

Cutest little cottage! Really loved the back porch / deck area. Loved this spot — affordable and perfect for a fall weekend getaway. Jeanine and Keith had lots of cute touches like homemade pumpkin bread and eggs in the fridge. They are also easy to communicate with. The town is very cute, too.

I enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The neighborhood was quiet. Upon arrival we were greeted by Drew, a nice gentleman that showed us the house and answered any questions we had. The house had plenty of room and the view of the lake was nice and relaxing. The amenities provided were more than what was needed. Having breakfast items in the refrigerator was helpful after a long drive and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting the area.

I was looking for a quiet weekend away from the city and found it in this property. David was kind enough to show me a different property that wasn't booked, a more secluded and private location, which was exactly what I wanted. He made the switch with no trouble, provided farm fresh eggs and a stocked kitchen, etc. This isn't glamping but if you want a private, nature-y retreat with easy access to the Metro North, I highly recommend!

This was our first experience at an Air BnB. We had moved from the area to another state and wanted somewhere to stay with our adult child close to family and friends. This is a "house in the woods" type of vibe. If you are looking for street lights and sidewalks, none of the towns in this area have that. There is a lovely lake less than a 5-minute walk. Everything outside is rustic, including the driveway. You will need to back out or do a 7 point U turn. The street is very quiet. Many restaurants within a short drive, supermarkets, Kohls, an okay mall with a Dicks, Macys and Ulta Beauty, tons of hiking and biking/walking trails and the Paramount Theatre in Peekskill for cultural entertainment. Since we are from the area we knew what we were going to do during our stay. We used 3 of the 4 bedrooms and the beds were comfortable with nice linens. Plenty of towels and a full kitchen w/ dishwasher. Formal DR, LR, a chess set and stereo. Great WiFi and cable TV - would book again.
