It was a beautiful place! It's a comfortable and cozy home. We were delighted to stay here and the extras like the private onsen and sauna rooms were great. Everyone on my trip enjoyed, and the place was very clean and location was perfect for the old town nearby. Kitchen was pristine, we were able to cook a meal and it went swell. Thank you so much!

"The Land of Pristine Rivers! A private inn in Gifu Prefecture with an atrium and a cozy stay around the Irori fireplace!

It seems that there are many summer users, but we used it in the middle of winter.I was able to enjoy the snow scenery rarely seen due to heavy snowfall. It was very cold, but I enjoyed watching the fire in the wood stove and making teppanyaki and pot in the fireplace. The supermarket is the closest and about 16 minutes by car, so it's a good idea to come to the inn after shopping.Bugigawa Onsen, about 20 minutes by car, was also very good.I used the pizza oven to bake and eat pizza and bread in the snow.Fortunately, the snow stopped, so there was a problem with grilling and eating on the spot.I didn't feel that cold because there was no wind. The child was in unusual snow.(High school student) I think summer is a great place!

Hyo: A house where you can stay with your pet and BBQ. Conveniently located 20 minutes from Magome, 40 minutes from Achi Village, and 60 minutes from Nagoya

GinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
At first glance, the house looks dated. It is a traditional, rural Japanese home that reminds me of my grandparents' house. While the furnishing and facilities are slightly old, it is still a comfortable house nonetheless. The toilet is modern and new so that is a plus. The house is also conveniently located along the main road with a couple of food options like KFC, Sukiya and Family Mart within walking distance.
The entrance of the traditional house is framed by a gravel path and neatly arranged plants. A large sliding door opens onto a welcoming space, while windows on either side allow natural light to fill the interior. The peaked roof complements the serene hillside backdrop.

6 minutes to the National Treasure Inuyama Castle, with excellent access to the airport, Nagoya, Gifu, and Takayama, making it a great starting point for any adventure!

It is a very nice house. It is a bit noisy due to the nearly road and train tracks during the day, but it wasn’t too bad during the night. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay here, or get taxis to go into town, since the station is a good walk away. Once you get a car, accessing the mountains is a breeze and traffic is quite low. The host was amazing. She picked us up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station when we left. She also brought over some more bedding during our stay. I highly recommend this place, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper, you might not enjoy staying here. Overall it was in the right location to get a taxi into Inuyama to interact with the locals, and then drive around in the mountains.
The entrance courtyard features a serene garden with well-maintained shrubs and a small tree. Stone pathways connect various areas, while natural light enhances the greenery. Large windows in the building allow for a glimpse of the interior, where traditional Japanese elements are present.

We, my wife and I, rented the place for a month, so plenty of room for just the 2 of us. This reasonably spacious apartment was very clean and comfortable and an easy walk to train station, grocery and convenient stores. Also, well stocked with basic toiletries and kitchen and cleaning supplies. Quiet building and safe neighborhood too.
A circular seating area is featured, designed with a woven exterior and plush navy cushions. Two light-colored decorative pillows are placed on the seating, which is positioned near a large window. Natural light filters through sheer curtains, creating a soft ambiance.
