Chris's place is really a home away from home, while still getting a relaxing and safe holiday experience. I was even able to cook a special lunch for my family and the kitchen had everything that I needed, to the last detail. We had a lovely stay and I highly recommend Cheers Umzumbe, and Chris is a very patient and efficient host.

This place is what I always dream of when booking a relaxing getaway. The location is beautiful, with a huge open view of the sea from Alan's garden. It's also very private, and the space feels very much like it is 'yours' for the duration of your visit. Alan was a really helpful host, and offered me lots of advice for where to walk and explore in the area, eslecially to get down to Ifana Beach itself. The three dogs were all absolute sweethearts, and it was a joy to stare out at the sea with my morning toast as they all waited for head scratches. This is a place that I'll certainly be coming back to next time I'm in the country! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

Amazing staff who was really friendly and do helpful. The house was clean, neat and tidy. Pool was in excellent condition. Zanele gave us perfect directions.

The accommodation was exactly as advertised and we had everything we needed, but we received so much more than just the accommodation. We didn't even know when we booked that there is private beach access directly from the garden. Pieter and Velosh went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They went out of their way for our children, setting up a swing all set, providing boardgames and beach toys and so much more. They gave their time, opened their home and did whatever they could and more to make sure we had an enjoyable holiday. When we arrived they were just our hosts, but by the time we left, we had new friends. Even our children did not want to say goodbye.

We had a great stay at Rob and Debbie's place and would love to go back again one day. The weather, the local area and the accommodation were all wonderful.

It’s a beautiful location in the South Coast. Hosts Chère and Peter were extremely friendly and welcoming . I would highly recommend Kingfisher Lodge and will definitely be returning next time I visit the South Coast

Cindy and her family are wonderful people and great hosts. Check in and check out was a breeze. For a couple, the cabin is a fantastic place to stay. The place and surroundings are beautiful. Also very peaceful and serene. Enjoyed it

Gail is a wonderful host and my family and I loved our stay at Gail's place. The attention to detail and her kind gestures such as leaving childrens toys and easter eggs for us over the easter weekend was very kind and we really appreciated it and it made our stay much more special. Gails place is definitely one of the best places we have been to and we definitely will be back in the future. Five star stay.
