The place is spacious, light and airy with beautiful sea views. The host was very accommodating with check in and out times. We had a great stay, would have loved more to spend more time.

This place is such a lovely cosy home away from home. The place is well kept and absolutely beautiful. The beach access is literally a stone throw away which made visits there that much more enjoyable. We will be definitely coming back.

Our stay at the rondavel was absolutely perfect. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel at home. The location is unbeatable, with a stunning ocean view and just a short walk to the beach. The accommodation is equipped with everything you could possibly need – and then some! From dumbbells and yoga mats to snorkeling gear and candles for a cozy atmosphere, every little detail has been thought of. The sea is warm, and the beach is almost empty, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Alan was a wonderful host. He gave us a warm welcome, provided great local tips, and even stocked the fridge with bread, jam, yogurt, and fresh eggs from his own chickens. A selection of fresh fruit was also waiting for us upon arrival. We felt completely comfortable and at ease during our stay, and I highly recommend this rondavel to anyone looking to escape the fast pace of everyday life. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and truly cozy – a little South African paradise!

Neil's place has a great sea view location with a lot of breeze flowing through the unit. We had a relaxed stay - sleeping and waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Kitchen and the home had everything that we needed for the stay. Neil was very responsive and was accommodative of the early checkin request. Only recommendation is to look at the main door locks which are rusty sometime. Otherwise, the best sea view stay for us so far. Thanks Neil for accommodating us for the 4 nights' stay.

A Stay to Remember – Truly Magical! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible holiday home last week, renting out the main house along with the two charming cottages. From the moment we made our initial enquiry on Airbnb, we were blown away by the professionalism and high level of service. With so much online fraud these days, we were understandably nervous about booking and paying online, but their clear and secure registration and payment protocols immediately put us at ease. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our wonderful hostess, Louise. From the first interaction, she made us feel completely comfortable — she was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Affectionately known as “The Old Dame,” is nothing short of magical. You can feel all the love and personality in every detail. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. My kids stayed with Catherine for more than a week and enjoyed every moment. Great location, and Catherine really made them feel comfortable. The place was cute, and the kids would love to stay at Catherine's place when they visit Port Shepstone again. Great value for money! Thank you Catherine!!
