Malte’s place is a little gem. We had a fantastic time. We felt we had the castle all to ourselves in the evenings and the early mornings. We walked the grounds with our little guys and our dogs and explored the property. Everyone had a great time. The home is comfortable and provides everything you need for relaxing family time. Since we stayed a few days we had the opportunity to drive to Heidelberg since it was only less than hour away.

Mature trees and blooming flowers surround a stone exterior adorned with climbing greenery. A balcony with potted plants is visible, enhancing the historic charm of the building. Tall windows provide glimpses of the character-filled interior.

This beautiful real 15th century castle is spacious and well-appointed and the lovely couple that 'caretake' were very gracious and friendly as well as helpful. The surrounding area is pastoral and peaceful-great for hiking and nature walks. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to return.

10 stars. Lee is the coolest Airbnb host we have ever stayed with. The Burg is still being remodeled after centuries of disrepair, and Lee and Kat are doing an incredible job. We got to see the entire property and hear about their vision for the place. Lee also told us all about the history and gave amazing recommendations for later parts of our trip. He has some incredible things in the Burg and each piece has history. We will be returning in a couple years after the dungeon is turned into a café!

Ich wollte gar nicht wieder weg und werde wiederkommen. Herzlich und gastfreundlich von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde. Eine grandiose Matratze, die Rückenschmerzen sind pasé. Grandios auch Speis und Trank. Wunderschöne Umgebung und ein geschichtsträchtiges Haus. Viele Informationen. Ein flexibler Check in and out. Also mir fällt eigentlich nichts ein, was hätte besser laufen können. Mein Hund wollte nicht wieder ins Auto steigen bei Abreise. Ich auch nicht!

Vielen Dank! Ein wundervolles, gehobenes Ambiente. Die ruhige Lage ist auch super, es lässt sich direkt an der Fränkischen Saale quasi vor der Haustür spazieren gehen. Das Zentrum von Bad Kissingen ist ebenfalls sehr nah.

We hebben genoten van het verblijf in dit kasteel. De kamers waren zeer sfeervol ingericht en zeer comfortabel. De omgeving van het kasteel ziet er ook prachtig uit. Hartelijk dank!

Tolles Appartement, super Lage in Rottenbauer mit Supermarkt und Bäcker fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Straßenbahn ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und die Linie 5 fährt bis nach Würzburg in die Innenstadt. Einfach klasse.
