Vacation rentals with beach access in Hessen

We booked the "green" apartment for a short hiking vacation in early spring at Lake Edersee. For this, the location of the apartment was perfect - 20 min walk to the Staumauer or 5 min to the forest. The apartment itself was very nice; we especially enjoyed the terrace right in front of the living room. The contact with Christian was friendly and nice.

Nice attic apartment on the Fulda with great views. Tram outside the door, shopping within walking distance - a really good alternative in a quiet location!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment of the Paul family. The apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything and our hubd also felt so comfortable. Christiane and Alfred are excellent hosts. Thank you for the lovely stay with you! 😊

We were very pleased with the place of Dr. Kadir's place and felt comfortable right away. The apartment was centrally located, very clean and cozy and the communication with Dr. Kadir was very friendly and pleasant. Check-in was easy and flexible. We recommend the place without reservation and would be happy to come back :-)

Super private and big house that was easy to find. Quiet neighborhood, and huge bathroom + tub. Kitchen was well equipped - overall we had a very comfortable stay at Bella’s place

We stayed at the property with two small children. The apartment is super equipped and we felt very comfortable. Everything you need is there and there are many play opportunities for children - even if the weather is bad. We will be happy to come back!

Great Location, Fantastic views! Modular units in the hilly site were all designed for plenty of sun and 180 degree views of the hills and the lake. Hiking was awesome during this time with shining sun and open green & yellow fields.

We had a great stay! The place was super clean, stylishly decorated and exactly as described in the photos. The absolute highlight was definitely the hot tub – perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hosts were very friendly, easily accessible and have thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would come back anytime and absolutely recommend the place!

We had a nice time in the cozy cottage. It was very clean and we found everything we needed. The sauna was great. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, so we didn't spend much time in the garden. Especially in summer it is certainly wonderful there, because the lake (the swimming spot) is very, very close.

Felix was very friendly and super accommodating regarding check-in and check-out times. Always responded quickly and kindly. Place was nice and quiet , idyllic and close to the lake.

The communication with Heike and Felix (host) was great, all questions were answered immediately and uncertainties resolved. The house is very well maintained and it is everything you need on site. The last but not the guest gift surprised me really positively. This was the first time there but certainly not the last time, but then for longer! Aggregate: Perfect, just great and highly recommended!

We had a great vacation with 6 people and our dogs. The house had all the amenities you need and a little more. All our special requests were implemented and in some cases already accommodated. On the sun terrace, I have a great view of the lake and can enjoy the sun. The area invites you to hike and in summer the path to the lake is worthwhile. We can only recommend the house to everyone.

Charming apartment in a renovated old Rudesheim building. The bed was very comfortable, and all necessary amenities were provided. Aram was very friendly and responsive. We look forward to visiting again!

We stayed here last year and are always happy to come back. Great location, beautiful house.. Simply Perfect! This year we tried water skiing and wakeboard, which is only a 5-minute walk away. I with my family can 100% recommend Hanna and her lake house. 😊

The cottage is great for large groups of people. Through the pool table you can spend super social evenings. If you want, you can also retreat to the lower rooms. The sauna and the view were a dream!

Timos' accommodation is 100% recommended! It is very close to the bus stop and supermarkets. Just 10 minutes away you can take a nice walk along the riverbank (the scenery is spectacular) the best host by far! Thanks Timo.

Extended weekend to pick up a bike. Very nice area with many possibilities. Good transport connection. Centrally located, everything within walking distance (supermarket, bakery, restaurant,...) Very nice little apartment with everything you need. We knew about the steep stairs from the previous reviews, but it is still an experience and takes getting used to. For tall people, the bed may be a little too small... ;-). Only the staircase already smells very strongly of cigarettes - the apartment, on the other hand, does not. All around a nice and flexible time. Marie as a host was always very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

The start was a bit tedious, with Melanie we had agreed an arrival time 3-4pm, as she was on vacation, a deputy was organized. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding there, the key was deposited in the key safe, but we had not received a code. On site, we waited for 2 hours without a response from the deputy / as well as Melanie . In the meantime, Airbnb support was contacted and a replacement hotel booked. Shortly before the waiting time set by the support service expired, the deputy came back and we were able to enter the apartment... PHUU... so support contacted and replacement hotel canceled. NEVERTHELESS: We now also want to write about our positives, because in addition to our miserable check IN, the apartment was in PERFECT condition. A FEEL-GOOD OASIS when entering the garden and the possibilities that can be used on the terrain are simply great! We would love to come back

It was a very nice stay. It is highly recommended if you just want to take a vacation.

I found the place by chance and was immediately impressed. Everything looked really nice and cozy - perfect for our relaxing weekend - in the end it was exactly as expected if not better. We particularly liked the beautiful kitchen and the large rain shower. Communication with Fabian was flawless. He provided us with all the necessary information in advance so that the check-in, etc. went smoothly. There were also laminated instructions for use in the accommodation. On Scheid we made ourselves comfortable on the beach and swam a bit otherwise you can also, if you do not want to drive the car, take the small ferry over to Rehbach from dirt quite relaxed go hiking in the cellar wall. It was a nice relaxing experience and you can recommend the place to everyone.

What a great place to stay in! 🌟 We felt right at home, the place is modern and stylish. Everything was super clean, also everything necessary was available. The communication with Helena was also impeccable. She could be reached on short notice at any time. We will be happy to come back. ☺️

The old train station is definitely a unique gem and turned out to be a perfect place to stay for the getaway of our group of four! Karin and her husband were very nice and accommodating and even picked us up by car after we were stranded at another train station. They were also very easy and quick to reach with questions. The train station is restored and made with a lot of love for detail. We felt very comfortable and especially the very well equipped kitchen used a lot. After a short introduction, firing on the wood stove was no longer a problem and at night we kept heating blankets in the beds wonderfully warm. Due to construction work, no trains ran during our stay, so there was no noise. Light-sensitive sleepers should pack a sleeping mask, as such an old building of course has no shutters. The train station was a great base for trips to the surrounding area. The farm shop around the corner and the alpaca enclosure in the "front yard" made the idyll perfect. We definitely recommend the stay and thank you for the nice time!

We had a wonderful 3 days in Winterberg and stayed 2 nights at Steve's place. The location is great, you are at the ski slopes/hiking trails/in the center with fifteen minutes. The house is clean and tidy, with 2 bedrooms with in both double bed.
