Villa vacation rentals in Hermosa Cóbano Beach

We have been coming to Costa Rica since 1990 and have stayed in many homes in different parts of the country. Casa Juliet is our new favorite. The home is amazing with spectacular views! The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The home is very safe, behind a gated entrance. We never locked the doors during our stay. We were 4 couples in the home. because of the layout, we never felt cramped or limited on space. The grounds are beautiful and the pool and patios are large with several separate seating areas. The staff, Clara and Jose were onsite every day for cleaning and maintaining the pool and grounds. Clara also cooked and prepared meals when asked. Our host, Rotem was awesome, he was always available to assist and direct us to the best restaurants and activities and checked in on us often. We can't wait for our next trip to Casa Julliet!

In general, the property is impeccable, the common areas such as the pool and the thatch-roof space were always tidy. The house is beautiful and the hosts are friendly! I hope to be back soon :)

Our stay at Judit’s Santa Teresa home was outstanding! The house was gorgeous with a contemporary minimalist vibe (loved the polished concrete floors and counters), well outfitted and immaculately clean, with nice indoor and outdoor space/flow (just like the pictures in the listing). Also loved the outdoor showers (plural) and the super comfortable, firm beds. The location was great — close to many restaurants, boutiques and surf breaks, but just far enough away to be quiet and serene while relaxing in the hammock by the pool. Our host, Judit, was very communicative, proactive and responsive. I hope to be able to return soon!

This was our first time visiting CR and we were truly impressed with Mar's space. Everything was as described and Mar was kind enough to offer us local recommendations and suggestions while we were there. Would absolutely come back again!

Lorie and Will were extremely responsive, always helpful and very friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and even had the house cleaners come mid stay to clean the house. Will had ATVs delivered to us and coordinated their pick up. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip! Highly recommended!! Thx you guys!!!!

The house and surrounding environment was incredibly we saw many animals including monkeys, butterflies, curious squirrels and many colourful birds where especially the hummingbirds gets very close to you if you wish. Anne-Laures is ever helpful and fast responding if you have questions about anything 😊. The place is literally almost in the jungle with a view above it and over the ocean and that is only a 10 minute drive in your 4x4 car. where do i start, location, location this place will leave u breathless, its peaceful, clean, serene, when you first walk in the jungle the green the lush gardens welcomes you you then proceed to where the rooms are and the views of the beach just steps away from you room makes you feel in paradise, breakfast its served on the beach everymorning, you can just feel the stress melting away everyday, the rooms are clean, private,its in the heart of santa teresa plenty of walkable places to go yet while you are inside the compound just will not here the noises from the street. the staff, Glori is an amazing host she is kind, humble, & her warmn heart makes you feel you have been friends forever, Rosa keeps everything clean and neat she is very polite friendly and a great cook & don chepe is always so helpful and kind. if you see Nekaui available i urge tou to snatch it right away i promise you it will not disappoint & you will have an amazing experience.

Villa Laya is truly spectacular. The house offers privacy and is very well designed offering spectacular views from every room. Bernice was a great host and was very helpful. I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnb’s and this one was truly special. I seriously can’t recommend it enough!

Such a lovely stay, the villa is gorgeous, views are stunning, we loved it! The hill is walkable but steep so it was definitely a good work out, we had a 4x4 and it managed it fine. Santa Teresa is great, so many restaurants and bars, we surfed/tried to, headed to Montezuma for zip wire and thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the villa. BBQ and kitchen was great, we ate in a few times and quite enjoyed watching the ant action at night. Tomi the dog was a lovely extra we discovered he loved chomping on ice cubes, he was a gem! The hosts are very responsive, loved the info they sent it was great, would highly recommend staying here.

Ramona’s place is truly a Pura Vida paradise! It was absolutely perfect accommodations for our extended family of four adults and five children. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, the amenities were extensive, everything was extremely clean and organized, and the backyard/pool area is a relaxing oasis that was hard to leave. Not to mention the short walk to the gorgeous beach with an amazing cafe and restaurant was the icing on the cake! Ramona was the most responsive and helpful host I’ve ever encountered, and we’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s. Her recommendations and answers to our questions helped plan our entire vacation. I would have to say this has been our favorite place we’ve ever stayed at. Don’t hesitate…book it now!!

La Perla is a lovely home and garden. We enjoyed our time, hanging around the house and pool...and we saw a lot of wild life right in the yard (howler monkeys, iguanas/lizards, crabs, parakeets, other lovely birds). It is a short walk to the beach to watch great sunsets or walk in the interesting tide pools. You are in close walking distance to Playa Hermosa (15-20min), which is the nicest beach for swimming in our opinion. Most importantly, you are not in the busy Santa Teresa stretch - you are north of it. The house is close to the road so you will hear traffic but not a huge deal and did not affect sleeps. Raphaelle was great at responding to any questions and providing suggestions. She arranged our transport to/from the airport and our ATV so that it was there when we arrived. The daily cleaning is also nice.

This was the best airbnb my friends and I have stayed at. I had the best week of my life in Santa Teresa, and I will absolutely be back! The location, the view, the pool...... it was all just perfection. Enjoy Villa Melody!

My wife and I had an amazing week at Villa Akoya. The home was immaculate when we arrived and came stocked with fresh fruit, wine and beer. The sunset views were nothing short of spectacular every night. The support team for the Villa are amazing. Milena, our concierge for our stay was incredibly helpful and kind, suggesting beaches to visit, things to do and restaurants at which to eat. She also arranged transportation for us when needed. Marta, the housekeeper, is there every day between 10a-2p. She keeps the place immaculate and does laundry if needed. The security guard was on duty every night from 5pm until 5am. He was visible but not intrusive. Maintenance kept the pool sparkling, grounds clean and Internet working. While the location is amazing and close to everything, it is also next to a beach access road which means you will hear some traffic (especially at sunset) and it won't feel particularly private. BUT we WILL be going back soon. Highly recommended!

Wow this was the most healing experience. The Airbnb is a beautiful peace of art nestled away in privacy just 10 min from the Santa Teresa area, making food and activities easily accessible but privacy and peace a priority. The effort and love Pierre put into this home shines bright in every detail of the home. Pierre made very sure we were able to arrive to the location with ease as the roads in the area can be confusing, we were never once left lost. While we mainly ate in town, the house is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking, which made it easy when we decided to utilize the outdoor & indoor kitchen for dinner. The house is stocked with beach bags and beach towels, which we appreciated because no one brought any for the trip! As shown in pictures, the view is absolutely breathtaking. I would absolutely stay here again, hopefully very soon!

This was a very comfortable and private place to stay. Short easy drive to Playa Hermosa, Manzanillo, and Santa Teresa. Only 30 minutes or so to Montezuma as well. Would recommend!

The place was amazing! They look cleaners and maid service was also friendly. The only problem is the raccoons drinking from the pool later at night and crawling on the roof but I think that’s out of their hands. Otherwise it’s the most central spot for anything around Santa Teresa and the host is so responsive!

Beautiful location and property. View is fantastic. Pool area was lovely. Outdoor bathroom was a vibe. Felt extremely private and peaceful. Fairly quick access to town in Santa Teresa. Our host/concierge Fiona was extremely responsive and helpful. Our first time in Costa Rica so a few notes for other first time visitors relevant to this property. The roads to access the house are really rough which made coming and going an adventure. 4x4 helpful. In April, temp is fairly hot and high humidity. The AC kept the bedrooms nice and cool but the main room stayed pretty warm. House is set in the beautiful jungle which means wildlife at all times of day and night. Very fun but also a LOT of noise. Bring earplugs if a sensitive sleeper. A few small issues with the appliances during our stay but everything was resolved reasonably. Overall our trip was fabulous and would absolutely book with this host and property again.

Lucy and the staff here at Thea resorts were amazing. Lucy was super responsive and was able to book all of our excursions, she was super helpful. During our stay we were able to get to know the staff who kept up with us. The wonderful pool guy and the ladies who did the house keeping. This was daily and it was a treat. It’s always nice to have fresh towels and a clean kitchen. We couldn’t have had a better experience. The weather was excellent and the location was breathtaking. Thank you and we’ll be back!

Our stay at Pierre-Alexandre’s house in Playa Hermosa was absolutely perfect! The home was stunning—immaculate, stylishly decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area, with its gorgeous pool and lush surroundings, was a highlight, making it hard to leave! Pierre-Alexandre was an outstanding host, incredibly attentive, and quick to respond to any questions we had. He went above and beyond, sharing local tips for nearby beaches, restaurants which felt like the warm hospitality we love. The location is ideal, just steps from the serene Playa Hermosa, offering the perfect mix of tranquility and easy access to Santa Teresa’s vibrant scene. We can’t recommend Pierre-Alexandre’s place enough and are already dreaming of our next visit! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Beautiful stay at Villa Shemesh, a scenic and peaceful house tucked away in nature! I would absolutely recommend this place. - Very clean and comfortable house, the furniture is high quality and the design choices are calming and comfortable at the same time - You feel tucked away in nature and isolated in the best way - Very responsive host at various hours of the day, which made us feel welcome and cared for - Beautiful birds visiting every day - Private pool for some downtime and cooling moments on the particularly hotter days - Ample amounts of towels and supplies for all guests - Daily kind cleaning personnel For Awareness: - the drive up to the villa is very steep, you will need to take it slow and have a 4x4 - the living room does not have A/C, sometimes hard to enjoy the space due to heat or when cooking Overall incredible house!
