Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hepburn Shire

We had such a wonderful stay at Olivia’s place! The home was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, we especially loved the floor-to-ceiling window in the master bedroom with stunning views of the lake. The spacious deck was perfect for relaxing, and we were lucky enough to enjoy both a breathtaking sunrise and moonlight reflections on the water. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, fresh free-range eggs, butter, and bread waiting for us in the fridge. Our kids absolutely loved their time on the farm. A real highlight was visiting the pet cows and bulls with Liv and feeding them carrots, such a special experience! Malmsbury town is just a short drive away, and the bakery there is a must-visit, the pies are delicious! Thank you, Liv, for an amazing weekend. We hope to return again soon!

We had such a lovely stay at Emily and Aaron's gorgeous home and farm. The home looked exactly like the photos and was the perfect spot to escape for a long weekend, relax and recharge. My children loved the trampoline, bikes, swing and feeding the goats (and of course the AppleTV and WIFI!). And my husband and I loved the food, wine and ability to just put our feet up and not worry about anything! We arrived to a delicious antipasto platter and bottles of their wonderful wine! We then enjoyed delicious wood fired pizzas, burgers, home-made banana bread, smoothies and more over the course of the weekend. Emily and Aaron - thank you for your fabulous hospitality! We look forward to returning again soon :)

Wow! We are so grateful we found this gem! The location was heavenly. It was so beautiful and amazing. We went as a family. The kids had so much fun and we felt so much peace and relaxation is an incredible location and beautiful home! We didn’t wanna leave. Massive, thank you to Caroline and Doug for their support and their amazing communication and care that they put in the entire day. It was a dream! We can’t wait to come back.

The accommodation and surrounding gardens are beautiful, a supremely impressive property all round. Very private, heaps of outdoor space with lots of thoughtful and varied spots to relax in and soak up the serenity. The indoors were equally impressive, very well designed and beautifully appointed. Not a single negative to my stay, the opposite in fact, my expectations comfortably exceeded. It was lovely to meet my hosts Georgie and Andrew and I really appreciated, and thoroughly enjoyed, the generous tour of the property with Andrew. The location might be obscure and remote, but the host’s instructions were clear. Only 15 minutes to Maryborough, the closest biggest town, this cosy mud-brick cottage was exactly what our little family needed. This pet-friendly cottage allowed us to bring our beautiful French Bulldog, Mister Crumpet and he had fun trying to get the two older dogs, Zac and Betty, who lived on the property to play with him. Waking up every morning to the rustic rural landscape was sublime. With the sheep, birds and kangaroos jumping in paddock was a grounding experience. The cottage had everything we needed. A nice big kitchen to prepare meals, a spacious living room with the master bed. There is another bedroom with six bunk beds, perfect for large families. The bathroom was clean with plenty of amenities. The outdoor covered patio was our favourite space. Basking in the views, our dog could roam in the fenced area as we sit and sipped our tea. It was the perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful, peaceful cabin to spend some solitude in. My friend and I loved the peacefulness, the verandah and the closeness to many towns. Check in instructions were clear and felt very comfortable for our stay. Thankyou!

Catherine and James were very friendly, and accommodating during our stay. I can see that a lot of thought has been put into curating the beautiful cottage. With it being only 20 minutes from Daylesford, and 20 minutes from Ballarat., It was a perfect Inbetween spot for day trips, and accommodating other activities. Would definitely love to stay with him again in the future!

What a fabulous property! Secluded yet so close to several towns. Beautiful country home that looks even better in real life. The neighbouring farm made the stay more exiting for the kids and we loved the feel of the home and the backyard fire pit and bbq area. We have recommended this property to all our family and friends. We look forward to staying again next time.
