Family-friendly vacation rentals in Henley Beach

This was my second time staying at Cathy’s place, and once again, it was a great experience. The apartment is in a very convenient location — just a short walk to Chinatown, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Cathy is a wonderful host; communication was smooth and she responded quickly to any questions or requests. The check-in process was easy, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short or extended stay. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Trudi’s place is the perfect city HQ for events at the Adelaide Convention Center across the street. We could walk and catch the free tram to the South Australian Museum, Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide Central Market, great restaurants, and more. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen, laundry, and beautiful space to return to each evening. It is well thought out and very clean, and Trudi is so friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Lisa’s place was perfect for our family of 4 getaway. Located right on the beach with gorgeous views of the sunset and 10 minutes drive to the McLaren Vale winery. The beds were really comfy and the living room spacious. Lisa was a perfect host

We booked Kingfisher Creek for my birthday as a mums retreat. We instantly felt relaxed and within a few hours already planning our next stay. Eleonora was everything we could ask for as a host - polite and helpful. She even turned the heaters on so we would come into a warm space. Thankyou we will be back!

Haww's place was good for us to stay in.

This was our second visit at Sally’s place. A very peaceful location with an easy walk to the beach. Bakery, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. Instructions are clear and getting in with the key lock box is easy. Very happy with our choice and would recommend.

Jackie's property was an ideal home away from home. Clean, welcoming, a fabulous outdoor space for humans and fur kids, walking distance from the beach and minutes from local shops. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return again!

Sarah was the perfect host, always willing to help, explain how she got into this venture, was always available to talk to. The "other" hosts were just as willing to display that they were there as well, such as Donkeys, horses, goats, draft horses, chickens and of course her two very friendly dogs. I would certainly give Sarah and the "extra hosts" SIX STARS if I could as it is the place to have a peaceful and relaxing break away from the chaos of normal life Thank you Sarah Bob & Alison Polson ps, Hahndorf is such an amazing town and must be visited....

Beautiful studio space overlooking McLaren Vale. Cozy but tastefully decorated and with lots of artworks and quirky things to discover (such as the vinyl collection)! Plenty of wineries right on your doorstep too if you're so inclined...

Great home! I stayed there with my 2 greyhounds for 8 days while I was attending a hockey tournament. It was a great location - 15 mins drive to state hockey centre. Backyard was perfect for the dogs. Three great sized bedrooms inside and nice lounge room. Had everything I needed.

I’m a regular user of AirBnB when I travel, and this place is easily rated in my top selection! Easy to access the property - great instructions on the how and what. I was staying with my mother - the double room + single bed/office was perfect - very comfortable. As a couple, I could easily imagine staying here myself for longer and working remotely with the office set-up. The decor/interior matches the photos - the property feels even bigger in reality. Functionally - everything was perfect, fantastic coffee machine (there are two coffee shops literally within 1 min walk from the front door) Location - fabulous. If you like to run/walk- you’re 10mins away from the beautiful Victoria park, which features endless space and wetlands area. Norwood is a gorgeous historic area, with tree-lined streets and historic homes. The bus is 450m away, and supermarkets 10mins walk. Thanks so much Barbara for a wonderful stay!! Would absolutely stay again!!

Loved our stay - such a lovely bungalow we all felt immediately at home. Very comfortable and great beds. Lovely that we could have our small cavoodle with a great enclosed yard. Excellent location and hosts.

We had a great stay at Tim and Karen’s - the guest space is private, easy to access and very spacious. Location is a beautiful suburb just outside of the CBD area with easy access into the city. Would 100% recommend!

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. Our wedding party stayed at Three Hills the night before our wedding. The hosts were so responsive and helpful, with lots of thoughtful gifts and supplies for us throughout the house. Lynn and Stefan were super helpful when one of our group accidentally locked themselves out and got the house open for them in no time. The house was immaculate, with lots of natural light and space. It was perfect for getting wedding ready and the views offered great photo locations. it was an incredible space and we will definitely be returning for future visits.

Jessie's place was very comfortable, nice and clean. Fairly peaceful apartment complex, we didn't notice much activity or have to wait for elevators etc. It also had an aloccated parking spot within the complex. Great stay, thanks heaps!
