Farmstay vacation rentals in Henderson County

First, Doug and Marcia are lovely folks - warm and helpful. The views of their farm, the animals, and the mountains from the porch are terrific. The rooms are very clean and they make it extra nice with snacks and brochures with information about the area. We will be back!

My trip to the country cottage was such a welcome respite while working on an assignment in the area. Cozy, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Jerry and Deborah are so welcoming and lovely to be around. I learned much about the area from them and they were always checking in to make sure things were going well. I look forward to returning soon with my family to explore the area more and spend some time with my new friends.

House was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for hosting our friend’s bachelorette. Lyndon and Amie were very responsive and provided easy instructions every step of the way. Amazing area and we’re already looking forward to returning!

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

This place was simple and amazing! Such a gorgeous view - we wanted to sit outside in the rocking chairs all days. Perfect place for a small reunion with children. We would definitely rent again - hosts were super responsive.

This lovely modern 3 bdrm home was beautifully maintained and stocked with ample towels, pantry items, flat screen TV with cable/satellite, all necessary appliances including a Keurig coffee maker and w/d. The country setting was quiet and peaceful yet close to Asheville. Jon was very easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions. Access to the home was easy.

If this house is available, do not pass go, grab it! Spacious home, clean, and well appointed with anything you might need! Michelle is a fantastic host. She’s super helpful and responds quickly! She was helpful with hiking recommendations and anything else we needed. We loved hanging out with the chickens, Alpacas, and dogs. This home is a great jumping off point for all things Asheville. It’s just minutes away from the Blue Ridge parkway and many other activities.

We had such an amazing stay at My happy place! April truly thought of everything to make this Airbnb comfortable. The house is so cute with a screened in front porch and a wonderful backyard with various sitting areas to enjoy and a lovely grassy area our dog loved! She had a fully stocked spice cabinet, snacks and smores, and local coffee! The bed was very comfortable and everything was so clean and pristine! The robes were such a nice touch along with all of the fun games you could play. April was very responsive and kind. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

The perfect reflective weekend! We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View’s. We also cooked our dinners in the handy outdoor kitchen! We would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet, secluded getaway!

An amazing place to stay! Kim was so hospitable and helpful whenever we had any questions. The house was spotless, comfortable and in a beautiful location. I hesitate to talk it up too much because I want to be able to go back again and again. Seriously, one of the all round nicest AirBnB experiences I’ve had in over 6years. Belinda and Jim are wonderful hosts. I have previously stayed in their tent accommodations and loved their attention to detail. Their tiny cabin did not disappoint. They have thought of everything. If you are in the area, don’t miss out on a wonderful little place.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless and had the perfect amount of space to comfortably host 12 women. Gwynne was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Anne was prompt in her responses and very accommodating to our needs. We checked in a bit later than we hoped due to some bad traffic/ weather and we were met with warmth and understanding in our inquiries regarding check in details. Their home is very cozy and the environment is very serene. Our kids loved the swing out front "kids meeting area" up stairs.

We absolutely love staying here! The special touches like the lighted Christmas trees and delicious homemade Christmas cookies were so very appreciated and made us feel so welcome. Also loved hearing the roosters in the morning! Would love to come back! Wonderful!

We were scheduled to stay at this house for a week, but due to Hurricane Helene, we had to evacuate after three days. For the time we were there, the house was very nice and we greatly enjoyed the large living room area. That was definitely the highlight of the home. We would have liked to explore the area more and utilize some of their recommendations, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Would recommend the house to people looking for a large area for people to gather and talk.

Super pretty cabin located a just a few short miles from downtown Hendersonville. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure, clean and stocked kitchen, big deck out front, very quiet, cozy living room.

We loved our stay at the cottage! Very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. the hot tub was easy to use. The shower had great water pressure and a nice size tub. The fireplace was really great in the living room. Overall a great stay! I wish there was a way to know a little about the history of the home.

Our stay at Hiker’s Hideawqy was perfect. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning, meal prep, and tea in the evening. It’s a great location too. I’m sure we will be back!
