we had an amazing winter vacation with 3 families (6 adults, 8 kids) at tove’s wonderfull hytte. especially loved the view, the spa and all the games and toys. would definitely like to come back!

Lovely chalet, very well equipped and a great location. We really enjoyed being next to one of the ski lifts and being able to ski almost back to the door. The hot tub and sauna were great after a day on the slopes, and the wood burner made sure the chalet was nice and warm. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped, Hanne is lovely and made sure we had everything we needed too, we all had a great time. Thanks Hanne!

We had the most perfect stay, the beds were comfortable and the cabin is super cosy. Lovely and peaceful area. We are looking forward to coming back here!

Luxury cabin with plumps toilet :-) The cabin is super cozy, very stylish and furnished to a high standard. The location is idyllic with views of the countryside. Plus a wonderful hot tub with wood stove. The cabin is located on a - not paved - toll road (NOK 50). This can be reached after paying at a gate at the machine with a card. This toll road is surrounded by other toll roads - so don't be surprised if you have to cross a total of 2 barriers to get to the house. A small shopping area is 2 km away, but this is relatively expensive. Basic amenities such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc., should be brought along. Small tip: When you arrive at the address and a chain locks you off the way to the house, then just walk the piece and then you will find the key for the chain in the house. The cabin is amazing - with the coziest beds in the world. We enjoyed our days there incredibly and would come back any time.

We have had an amazing week in Renates cabin. The cabin was extremely cosy, and had everything we wanted for our holiday including the sauna and hot tub which were added bonuses. There was enough space for us all to relax, eat together and enjoy catching up. The cabin was easy to find and the check in was also stress free, and Renate was very responsive and helpful. We would recommend this cabin and would definitely love to holiday here again. It was only a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes which was ideal, and it was far away enough to feel like we we were in the peaceful quiet of Norway, with lovely views and walks, and sledding slopes. We had a very nice stay at this great cabin. It is located in great surroundings and it is a short distance to Hemsedal ski center and grocery stores. It was clean and nice and the owner of the cabin was very service minded and helpful😊

Merete was a super nice host and the cabin really cozy - looks just like in the pictures! We got clear instructions on how to drive and get there and Merete does a good job to make sure it is pleasant to come to the cabin as a guest. The area is very beautiful, with good views to various mountains in the area and you can go for various hikes - unfortunately the snow had blown away when we were there, but then we could drive to other ski slopes, for example Beitostølen, but it took about 45 minutes each way. Well worth a visit and we'd love to come again!

Great cabin and location. Lovely with fireplace and firewood that is included. Plenty of space and lovely views with trails directly in front of the cabin with great trips. The toilet is in the annex next door, but it didn't matter to us and there is heat. We were wondering that there was no water (tap) in the sink next to the shower in the bathroom, but it's a minor issue. We will definitely come again!

Due to the previous guests, check-in was not optimal. Together with Marius, we were able to quickly find an optimal solution. This allowed us to have a wonderful time in this beautiful place.

Me and my family had a great ski vacation and recommend this place if you want to have beautiful mountain views with amenities just few km away.

Super cozy cabin :) Clean and tidy and Marianne was a super host. The cabin contained everything you need for a comfortable cabin trip.

The cottage is nice, Norwegian, nice and certainly also very comfortable. Everything you might need is there. Knut Erik is a very nice host. In our case it was also nice that the cottage was almost on the slopes of Solheisen. This ski resort was above expectations pleasant. Small, but a few nice descents(blue, red, black), the best maintained slopes and VERY quiet.

Nice cabin that we now rented two years in a row. Lovely views over the valley - and close to Hemsdal ski center. Good with four wheel drive to reach the cabin if it recently snowed.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy log cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin was beautifully maintained, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect getaway. The location was peaceful and serene close by a big mountain, yet still conveniently close to all popular ice climbing spots. We especially loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings — it truly added to the charm of the place. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy retreat, and we’d love to come back in the future!

Cozy cabin in peaceful surrondings. Good hiking, biking and fishing opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The cabin was well equipped and you had the most necessary available. Enough power from solar panel to charge your phone, decent coverage in the cabin. Very convenient with a water pump just beyond, as well as a gas stove.

We had a great week in Fjellsyn! We were very well received and came to a warm and very nice cabin where we felt right at home. Mountain views are highly recommended and we have felt welcome and helped right from the time we requested to rent the cabin until we drove from there. Really a lovely experience throughout.

We wanted to escape from the flooded everyday life and connect with nature. So we had prepared ourselves for tranquility and rusticity. And our wishes/ideas were exceeded. We were able to enjoy a tranquility that we had never experienced before. The way to the hut (in winter only with skis or snowshoes to master in a relaxed way) has dropped all loads and we were able to immerse ourselves in the other world. Here, very simple things like making fire and melting snow for water are a priority. This way, the mind can switch off and you can go on a journey to yourself. Beautiful new things can emerge when you get involved. Anne and Sveinung gave us such a warm and loving welcome. The oven and thus the cabin was warm, there was freshly baked bread with strawberry jam, which already made the thought of it a pleasure. Communication was quick and easy. We'll see you again. We have had a wonderful stay in this location. The cabin is located right in a mountainous area where easy, tougher or tough walks (some by car) will take you to breathtaking sceneries in vallies or climbing mountain peaks. The cabin is located at 950m of elevation so expect typical mountain weather that can vary somewhat between days and even during the day. The cabin itself is comfortable with three bedrooms with a outdoor space in a southerly sunny direction. Marianne as host has been very friendly, very knowledgable about the surroundings and full of ideas on what you can see and do, really best of the best hostesses. Our friends made a day trip to climb the well known Besseggen which is a 90min drive from the cabin. If you look for a place to do mountain hikes, biking, and related, then this is a very nice spot to do it from in beatiful Norway. Best recommendations!

Well-equipped cabin in a beautiful and very peaceful location. Lovely setting, absolute quiet with no road noise at all, just the sound of the wind in the trees and the tinkling of the sheep bells. Great hiking for all levels easily accessible within a short drive, town centre has all the amenities needed. Cabin was very clean and well-organised, easy to find everything in the kitchen, good quality kitchen equipment, comfortable beds with soft sheets. Rowing boat to take out on the lake was fun, picnic table on the deck down by the lake was a great place to sit and relax. Really liked the cabin and the area, would be happy to return someday!

We had some very nice days at Øystein's cabin. The cabin is well equipped and modern. Relatively short distance to most places. Øystein responds quickly and well to share information before we arrived. The cabin is highly recommended.

Martine's cottage was ideal for our ski holiday in Hemsedal: only 10 minutes walk from the ski slopes. The cottage is separate from the other rental apartments, making it very quiet. The cabin is very practically furnished and everything is available to spend some nice vacation days. We really loved the authentic decor of the cottage. Lots of natural light can come in through the various windows and you will have a wonderful view of the mountains and ski slopes. We didn't have a car, but there is a small supermarket a 10-minute walk away and the center with several supermarkets and restaurants is a 25-minute walk away.
