Vacation rentals with beach access in Hemsdal Municipality

Another wonderful stay. This was our 2nd visit to this apartment and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful apartment in the centre of Geilo. Above some shops, although there is absolutely no disturbance whatsoever. It’s so quiet and peaceful, with stunning views from every window. Super warm and cosy. Free parking in a private carpark under the complex, easy to find and really safe. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

It was a great stay for halfway between Oslo and Bergen. Roomy and kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

It is a very nice place with all the amenities listed. Everything is fresh, new and with good design. Perfect place to be for a family who wants to cook own dinners and chill after skiing. It is in central Geilo, but we still used the car to the slopes, which was not a big hassle as parking was free. Apartment is actually not that easy to find, but just follow the excellent descriptions. We would definitely rent this place again for a week or a long weekend.

Helt super leilighet med sentral beliggenhet. Rent, ryddig og veldig behagelig å bo i. Alt fungerte som det skulle, og jeg ville definitivt leid igjen.👍

Excellent apartment in Highland Lodge with great hosts too. We really like the the private feeling at the top floor and the amazing view of the valley and mountains. The kitchen is super well equipped and comfortable furniture in the entire apartment (they even have a baby crib and Trip Trap chair for toddlers). Monica is also a great host making you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend staying with her.

Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

Nous avons passé trois jours et nuits idéales chez Stein. Le logement est impeccable, ça sent bon, c'est décoré avec goût et tout le nécessaire est disponible à la cuisine, salle e bain et literie. Confort incroyable, maison hyper cosy! Nous avons super bien dormi, les lits étaient confortable ave du beau linge. La maison est sur la propriété mais avec un accès séparé et un jardin séparé ce qui est TOP avec des enfants qui peuvent faire un peu de bruit. Ils ont aimé avoir un étage rien que pour eux trois. La maison se situe près d'une route passante mais il n'y aucun désagrément niveau bruit ni vue. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la magasin à proximité mais c'est rassurant, ainsi que des bornes de recharge électrique à distance à pied. Les sites de visite autour de l'endroit valent vraiment la peine! Bref, c'était super bien!

Nous avons passé de très agréables moments dans cette maison. Elle est décorée avec des objets typiques norvégiens et est très bien agencée. Les espaces sont très bien répartis pour les couchages d'une famille nombreuse. Les pièces de vie sont très agréables pour les parties de jeux ou les repas dans une atmosphère chaleureuse avec en prime un poêle à bois. La cuisine est très bien équipée et permet de faire de nombreuses recettes. La vue est magnifique et les biches et écureuils s'invitent volontiers dans le jardin de pommiers. Nous avons réservé un tour en kayak dans le fjord à 5 minutes de la maison. C'était fantastique. Nous recommandons donc cette maison pour tous ceux qui souhaitent combiner calme et nature.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

Stedet var helt fantastisk, mye større enn vi hadde forestilt oss. Vi hadde et veldig koselig opphold på nyttårsaften! Tusen takk!

Fantastisk sted å være med stor familie med kjæledyr, rolig og vakker sted som man bare ønsker å komme tilbake til. Ligger fint, privat ved vannet, skiløyper samt kort vei til alle fasiliteter. Over forventinger vakker, pyntet til Jul. Fantastisk koselig og ekte Julestemning. Hyggelig oh god kommunikasjon med husverten. Takker masse :-).

Een gezellig, niet zo groot appartement, alles was in orde. Spijtig dat het net van de pingpongtafel ontbrak, was een leuke activiteit geweest toen het regende.

The apartment was a great stay again. It was very comfortable, homely and suitable for our family to cook and relax after a days skiing. With less snow this year we had a different view but got to walk to the beach. I hope we can come again next year. Thanks for hosting!

Our stay with Paula was so great! She is super sweet and caring, we loved the privacy of the apartment in combination with our chats when coming in or leaving the apartment! The area is great for snowkiting, skiing and cross-country skiing, so we did all that and then came back home to this lovely warm place with a hot shower, great bed and cute christmas decorations. Thanks Paula for this warm welcome to Norway!

Boligen var pæn og hyggelig og godt indrettet på lidt plads. Meget praktisk. Ligge i gåafstand til byen og en smuk sø. Mari var hele vejen igennem meget imødekommende og svarede hurtigt. Vi følte os meget hjemme og velkomne. Her kommer vi gerne igen.

Hadde en natt her og var veldig fornøyd. Fin leilighet med god plassering.

Wunderschöne ruhige Wohnung in Geilo mit Blick ins Grüne und auf die moderne stylische Kirche. Liebevolle Einrichtung, so dass man sich gleich wohlfühlt. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Alles da was man braucht. Wir hatten unerwartet sehr warmes Wetter und konnten den schönen Balkon zum Frühstück und auch abends gut nutzen. Danke Ingrid dass wir deine Gäste sein durften und danke auch für die Schokolade

Vi nød virkelig opholdet i den lækre lejlighed. Gode parkeringsforhold og nemt at komme til skiområdet. Gode handlemuligheder. Rasmus var super til at svare hurtigt. Vi kommer meget gerne igen!
