With a Klarna payment plan, you can still make reservation changes, like changing the arrival and departure dates, or adding extra guests. However, you’ll need to submit a trip change request to your host on Airbnb—Klarna can’t change reservations in any way.

To change a confirmed reservation, the first step is to submit a change request to your host on Airbnb. If there's a difference in cost for the reservation, you can compare the original total and the new total before you submit your request.
If the host accepts the request, the change is processed.
Note: Klarna can’t change reservations in any way, and hosts don’t have any information on any Klarna payment plans that you have chosen to cover the cost of the trip.
Even with a Klarna payment plan, you can change your booking (for example, you can change your reservation dates or add extra guests). You can make these changes directly through Airbnb.
If the new reservation costs less after a change request, Airbnb will send the refund to Klarna for the difference. This refund may take up to 14 business days to reflect in your Klarna account.
If the new reservation change costs more than the original cost, you can use an existing payment method in your Airbnb account or add a new payment method to cover the difference. Additionally, you may be able to apply for a new payment plan with Klarna for an additional amount.
Airbnb will send the refund to Klarna for the difference. This refund may take 14 business days to reflect in your Klarna account.
However, once we send the refund to Klarna, we can’t provide additional information on the Klarna refund status. For any details of refunds issued by Klarna, contact their customer service.
If you’ve completed all scheduled installments with Klarna, then Klarna would issue the refund to your original method of payment used with Klarna. If your payment plan is still active, then Klarna would issue refunds as a balance to adjust to the remainder of their scheduled installments.
In the case of a significant delay in receiving the amount due from Klarna, you'll need to check the status with Klarna directly. If after 14 days you have not received a refund, contact Klarna's customer service.
The refund amount refers to the full or partial cost of your reservation and doesn't include any fees or interest included in a Klarna payment plan.
Paying in 3 or 4 payments with Klarna loans are interest-free, but fees may be applied by Klarna for late payments. If you pay monthly with Klarna, interest may be applied.
Once a booking is confirmed and you have set up a Klarna payment plan, if you are unable to make a payment to Klarna on time, Klarna may try again. If that payment attempt doesn’t work, the missed payment will be added to the amount of the next scheduled payment, and late fees may apply.
