Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hellam Township

Bill and Sandi treated me as if I were family! But... they failed to mention how BEAUTIFUL their neighborhood is! There are 3 gorgeous horses across the way, friendly cats, and even turkeys!! I was welcome to use the hot tub anytime I wanted and they even got me a bottle of wine. I'm definitely returning soon. xxx

I rented this Air BNB for my parents for a gift to them. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive host and they had nothing but phenomenal things to say once arriving home!

Sue’s place had great views and that cozy cabin feel. She was a great host and was very willing to accommodate us. The Airbnb was exactly as it was described. The surrounding town was also beautiful and had excellent places to eat. Well worth the stay.

Wonderful place to just get away and quiet your worries. Great meditation with the winds in the trees and the sounds of the birds. The jacuzzi was wonderful! Well heated, 3 stations: one to laydown and get the shoulders and back the other 2 sit you in a cradle-like chair one for the neck the other lower back. It fits 6 comfortably. It was alittle rainy but it wasnt so bad that we couldn't keep our fire going all night. Both the grill and stove were used to cook and the dishwasher was nice for quick cleanup. Just had to rinse the dishes and put them through. The shower is ada compliant but made it kind of small for bigger people to stand comfortably, great if you like sitting down while showering. The bed was comfortable and loved the globe nightlite. The layout of the overall place made our stay just feel like we were at home. Thank you so much Kara!

My extended family had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. All the rooms were clean, airy and cozily decorated. The kitchen was great for cooking as well as having large meals together. We used the huge porch morning, noon and night and the back pool was clean and a relaxing space to hang out. The location is near many small towns with good restaurants, and shops with all the basic necessities are also close by. Farmer Pierre was quick to respond to any questions. We also enjoyed having small interactions with the farm animals, especially the pygmy goats. There was plenty of parking space as well. All the amenities were as promised and we all just had a wonderfully relaxing time.

Jane’s place is absolutely amazing! It is BETTER than described. Very close to Hershey park. Hotel check-in is easy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is close to the suite. There are elevators and trolleys. Indoor and outdoor pools! Everything was perfect! We loved every minute of our stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have stayed at this place before and have always received phenomenal service. There was only one small issue during our stay, and Mike got it resolved immediately. He was very communicative, the place was beautiful, and it was spacious for our larger group of 10. Highly recommend and would stay again!

My family and I stayed at Todd’s for a visit to Dutch Wonderland. It was fantastic. The house is unique and beautiful. Great movies, games, coffee table books. My kids loved playing in the basement. My husband loved playing great tunes on the record player. It was too cold for us to spend time outside, but in warmer weather the back yard would be amazing. Todd was very communicative and made us feel extremely welcome. Highly recommend!

It was exactly as Steve described. Every bit of info Steve shared with us was accurate. My son (9) and I took a 2 day trip to catch as many fish as possible. This private deep pond provided fun fishing for my son and I. We caught sun fish, blue gill, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, and a big catfish…that we learned is about 12 years old. Within about 40 minutes there are multiple locations that offer stocked and native trout. We hiked along the stream and enjoyed the panoramic scenic views. It had everything we needed. In all honesty, my wife usually does the prep so when I arrived and realized I had not brought coffee or a pot to cook in, I was pleased to find those items and more. Clean and comfy. It was a nice getaway. Not to promote my social media, but if you want to see videos of the pond and fishing, feel free to check it out on my page. I’ll be back by myself, and I’ll bring some company. :).

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

Stayed one night. Place was as described. Much larger than the photos (a positive!!!). Edwin was also super responsive throughout the process. Highly recommend and most likely will visit again.

My husband and I take a yearly trip to Lancaster for our anniversary. We were looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing where we could unplug from everyday life. This was the perfect spot. The house was adorable, very clean and comfortable. I’m nearly 5 months pregnant and had the best night of sleep I’ve gotten since getting pregnant. Juana was extremely responsive and very helpful. I needed milk and it was too late to go anywhere so she brought some right over. She left some fresh sourdough cookies and various local goodies that I absolutely inhaled. We will be making this our regular spot when we are in the area. BONUS-the sweet orange barn cat who loved scratches and attention distracted me from missing my fur babies at home.

Our 2 families had a great stay. Nice weekend getaway, close to our boys’ basketball tournament. Lots of room for 8 of us and if felt like home!

Michael was a great host and excellent communicator. He was able to help us out when our trip was in jeopardy of falling apart. The space is huge and very unique. The location is amazing !

One of the best shower heads I have ever had the pleasure to use. Took a ton of will power to not stay in the shower the whole stay. It appears that Ruthie and her family live in the house when guests are not staying. That did not bother me and my guest, but something to note. Really close to a Casino if that is what you are looking for. Less than a 5 min walk.

Beautiful sustainable farm! Our kids loved interacting with the animals and picking and eating the fresh fruits and vegetables from their varied farm. Nancy and Richard were wonderful hosts and gave a wealth of farming knowledge and experience. We definitely got a lot more than we anticipated! We all had a lovely stay and hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s place. The house was clean and comfortable. There was lots of room to gather, and the kids enjoyed themselves so much. We really appreciate that there were games and age-appropriate toys for our little ones. The house was so peaceful and the neighborhood so quiet, we slept really well. So well, in fact, that it was hard to get out of bed in the mornings, even though we had fun things planned for each day. The house is within 20 minutes of shopping and entertainment; that was a huge plus. Kim was a responsive and gracious host. We felt right at home. I would recommend her place to anyone who’s looking for some peace and quiet but wants to be within easy reach of retail and entertainment spots. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit the area, especially if we’re going to Sight & Sound. It was such a quick and easy trip to the theater.

We live staying here. This was our second time. We were little early but Robert accomodated us and everything was as we remembered from the last time. Kids love the pool. Super quiet relaxing place to be.

This Airbnb is amazingly spacious and squeaky clean!! WOW!! Our family loved our time here and we were so incredibly comfortable. Every thoughtful detail is covered. Quick drive to all the fun activities in the community. We all had a great time, just wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a nice stay at Caryle’s house. It was a nice location to explore Longwood gardens, Wintertur, and Philadelphia. Neighborhood was quiet. The house was nice and clean and we felt right at home. Caryle was very responsive and proactive.
