It’s not often you can switch off the modern world and enjoy a haven of peace, collect your own thoughts whilst listening to the tranquility of flowing water and birdsong. My son and I stopped over here for one night. I could have stayed a lot longer. My son needs his mod-cons - where did I go wrong 😆 The boathouse is decorated and laid out very tastefully. The bed is comfy with enough blankets to warm the coldest bottoms. I’ve never experienced a more luxurious compost toilet than the one in the neighbouring boat shed. The bathroom is the water of the fjord if you dare, otherwise there are wipes and lotions. A solar panel provides power for a small charging box with USB slots for charging phones if required. Otherwise it’s candlepower, of which there are plenty. I had a really comfortable nights sleep and would happily stay again . . . without the needy boy. Note: there is a steep walk down a field and up again, so travel light and keep this in mind if this could be a struggle for you

We had a really good time. Rita put a lot of love in this house. We were looking for something quite and we were not disappointed. We slept better than anywhere else. It is the perfect place to relax. And what was really nice as well: Thanks to Rita we found a boat to rent and could catch our dinner and spend some good time on the water. We even saw some little whales. The rocks not far from the harbor are good to catch Makrele. The little supermarket is not far away and you get everything you need to survive. :) If you want to have a bit more choice (especially of fruits and vegetables) you should buy it at a bigger store on the way to Salsbruket. Rita was always super quick in replying our questions.

We had two wonderful weeks in this cozy cabin at this very special place: We loved the view from the cabin onto the see, the short walk to the rocks to see the sunset, the kajaking between the tiny islands, the evenings in the outdoor bathtub, the hikes up to bolgtinden, through bolgborra and around the island, the bouldering behind the cabin, the slackline between the trees, the snorkeling in the bay... It is really a perfect place on an amazing island. Furthermore the cabin could not be better equipped and Edle Catharina is a very caring host, who explains everything in great detail. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!

beautiful cabin on the fjord with sauna overlooking the water and beautiful terrace. we had plenty of snow, as the wood stove was cozy, but there is also electric heating. Kitchen was well equipped, also spices available. Bed linen can be brought or rented.

Super cozy place in a gorgeous location. Here you get the nicest view of namsos and you have peace and quiet while the place is close to downtown. All amenities for a good stay. Tove was pleasant and efficient to communicate with. Would love to come back and would recommend the place to others who want to experience Namsos.

Our party's stay, where expectations were far exceeded. Best summer weather, access to all fishing equipment, protected archipelago for weather, tips, etc. for sea fishing for those who want to try on. Comfortable accommodation with all the convenience. Convenient ferry transportation by car from Tonnes to Selsöyvik, however hard to find the timetable. However, Gunnar has all the info. This house is a great place to recharge your batteries while enjoying the boat and the fjord. It's also a very welcoming place in an old typical Norwegian house. We loved warming up by the wood stove and enjoying a good coffee near the fire after a fishing trip or hike! In short, we'll be back!!!

The views are magical from the porch , sauna and jacuzzi absolutely superb. Very good kitchen and place for many in the house. Close to the hike, ski and fishing , Ludvig is a helpful host.

For us this was the perfect place. Large balcony, good beds, in walking distance to everything. A good house to stay. Would love to come back here. Recommended.

Our guest had wonderful days at Vefsna and in Sjøgata.

This is the second our visit to Kristine, there is nothing to complain about, small but nice house, with everything you need, the surroundings are magnificent, Vevelstad is always worth a visit, the hostess Kristine is simply top. We will be happy to come back.

Me and my husband, with my grandparents stayed here Friday-Sunday. It was a nice surprise waiting for us when the cabin arrived, good beds and clean in the cabin. A peaceful area that was nice to walk in, not long bit to Bodø or Saltstraumen. Really recommended, warm and pleasant host! If we are going to Bodø in the future, we will take the journey here!

Cozy cottage with an incredible view! The cottage has all amenities needed and the area is very quiet and pleasant.

Amazing and quiet location! We were 7 people and the house worked perfectly for us. Close to the house there are very nice hiking trails up the mountain with miles of views. There was also good fishing from shore nearby. We're super happy!

It was so nice to meet you and stay close to our relatives in Jetkvika.

What the photos can't show is what a great sense of homeliness this lodge has. We had a wonderful long weekend just enjoying the location and the view. Extra touches from the owner were appreciated, like a welcome bottle of wine and a couple of bags of wood for the fires. We didn't want for anything.

Fantastic view and cozy place

The cabin is very nice, lovely views. For us was very important for us to be together and relax. A perfect location for you to get away from everything and everyone❤️ in the neighborhood there are several places you can hike or feed on the caffe in Valnesfjord, e.g. Haakon was very easy to connect with and available if we had any questions.
