Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Helderberg Rural

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

First off, Belinda is a fantastic host—extremely responsive and clear in her instructions. In addition to Belinda’s great hosting, there’s a housekeeper and a gardener who are both incredibly kind and maintain the house in top form. The house itself is very spacious and even more impressive than the photos suggest. It features three large indoor kitchen areas and an outdoor Braai. If you love cooking, this place is a dream come true! The pool is wonderful, though it does occasionally collect pollen and leaves from the neighbors’ trees. The house can comfortably accommodate six adults, but we stayed with just two adults and a baby for most of our stay. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood, just a five-minute drive from Stellenbosch. There’s plenty to do nearby, offering the perfect balance of being close to Stellenbosch’s lively city center while still enjoying the peace and quiet. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Beautiful, beautiful home to be. Very clean, super comfortable beds and pillows, white crisp sheets, well equipped kitchen with quality cutlery. Thanks Mark, we will definitely be back.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Sunset Beach! From the moment we arrived, Barbara was the perfect host—so friendly and welcoming, always available to ensure we had everything we needed. The villa itself was stunning, with breathtaking beach views that were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Our family had an amazing time, enjoying the serene atmosphere and the convenience of being so close to the beach. It was the perfect getaway for us to recharge and have fun together. This is absolutely the perfect place to stay in Franschhoek! I enjoyed the beautiful mountain views while still being close to town. There are lovely places to eat nearby, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. The place was very clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time at Jochen's House in Cape Town! This was our second visit, and once again, everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed the stunning rooftop view and the relaxing jacuzzi. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay!

We loved staying at this place. Lots of space, the darts and pool table were great extras. Communication was wonderful, quick to respond or give lots of activity ideas.

The house was stunning, it felt very peaceful waiting for the family and we enjoyed how spacious the villa was. From the moment we received the keys, we were given a detailed guide on how to get around. The kids loved the swimming pool and that VIEW?! Breathtaking. Our stay at The Rafters was lovely! The house was a quintessential artists cottage with amazing artwork and beautiful interior design. It had everything we needed, but the rooms did get very chilly at night, especially with a little baby. It is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants in Kalk Bay. We loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it to other travellers! The wood-fired hot tub was very popular too!

Torsten’s home is one of the nicest places that we’ve ever stayed. The location, views, amenities, and level of comfort was exceptional. The communication and help from Dalene was extremely valuable as well. We live Scarborough and the national park. We hope to be back very soon. Thanks so much!

Everything was wonderful!!! The property was exactly as advertised and the hosts were super accommodating. They connected us to personal chefs, massage therapists and nail technicians. The place was clean and spacious and even came with a bottle of champagne to welcome us. This home took our vacation to the next level and we can't thank Lykke enough for the space and wonderful hospitality!

The place was beautiful serene and private. The fire for the Hot tub was already started which was great. We can't wait to book it again and return.

We had such a lovely time! The place was incredibly clean and tidy, which made settling in so easy. We especially loved how peaceful and secluded it felt — the quiet surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. It was cosy and comfortable, just the way we enjoy our getaways. This spot is a perfect winter staycation, and we’d definitely book again!

The house had everything you need from toddler to adult very accommodating(books to board games), and the views were refreshing from the deck to the top of the hiking trail. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the thoughtful gifts of wine and apples, they were such a lovely touch! To top it all off, we had a fantastic time relaxing in the cold pool and hot tub. We’re already looking forward to our next. visit!

We had a perfect stay at Debbie's Fish Eagle cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a win. We loved being so deep in nature. The dam was perfect for us to paddle on. Debbie and James her assistant were friendly and helpful. It was a slice of heaven. Thankyou for the perfect getaway.

What a great weekend getaway for any season. We had a wonderful time on a rainy weekend with the fire place and hot tub. The hosts were responsive and the place is fully equipped.

This place is very special, and a unique addition to any trip! Beautifully decorated, very well stocked, and incredibly peaceful and private. We loved using the pizza oven and hot tub, and taking walks on the surrounding trails. I would absolutely recommend to everyone!

We wanted to get away from absolutely anything to do with the city life and that’s exactly what we got. Our dogs went with and had the best time and we didn’t have to worry about vehicles or leaving a door open. Thank you.. we got the break we needed as a family.
