Very nice boat near Saint Malo/Dinan/Rennes.

Come and relax on board our beautiful 1920 Dutch barge. This former milk barge accommodates 2 people on board for charming and restful nights. The accommodation is very comfortable and can easily accommodate up to eight guests, in four bedrooms of good and identical sizes, the decoration is nice and neat, everything is very clean, well-equipped, with a pleasant exterior, including a very practical courtyard to protect yourself from the rain or the sun. The accommodation is very well located in the heart of Tinténiac with all the useful shops nearby, including a bakery. Tinténiac is close to Rennes, Dinan, Combourg and Saint-Malo, easy and quick to access thanks to the 2 × 2 lane located a few minutes away by car. Orlane and her husband are also very friendly.

Laurent and Claudine were welcoming and charming hosts. The accommodation was situated on a quiet lane a short drive from the town of Combourg with it's lake, castle and some small restaurants and creperies. There were pleasant walks nearby along the canal. The gite was extremely well equipped and contained some unusual and interesting antiques. It was stylishly decorated and its exposed timbers revealed the property's historic origins. There is a small private sitting area outside the front door with some interesting planting. The comfortable bedroom is situated on a mezzanine floor and is accessed via a staircase from the living room/ kitchen. The bedroom area has an excellent shower and bathroom on the same level, although the toilet is downstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and warmly recommend this property. In our seventies, the only slight drawback was that the stairs are quite steep which might be an issue for the less mobile.

Thank you so much to Laurence for her warm welcome to this lovely cabin. The environment is very calm and peaceful, the house is tastefully decorated and its atmosphere is very cozy. A special mention for the covered terrace in the west where you can have an evening drink in the sun while watching the rain fall. We enjoyed our stay very much and the location is ideal for visiting the surroundings.
