Cotton towels and sheets. Enjoy the vintage record player and and a madmen style bar set.

Welcome to your cozy stay in Russell, Kansas. This house was built in 1976 by Jack and Elaine Holmes . It features a garage to park you car in during the cold Kansas winter. Often you could find Elaine baking a pies/bierocks in her large Kitchen . Great for family get togethers, couples. and jut traveling through. This residence is handicap friendly with a ramp into the residence and one floor. It features a large fenced in back yard and a attached porch. The sunsets are amazing.

AQ house is a old small independent house and renovated in 2023. It located in Hays center, walking distance to FHSU, water park, strip mall, restaurants... And it is simple ，only one master bedroom in total, one living room and one kitchen. And the basement is storage room (the door to the basement is locked). So no need to share except with the person you are traveling with. Parking : one free driveway parking in the front yard (18' Lx9'W ).

A great place to stay in downtown Russell. This historical building is updated with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was super-comfortable (love the Ugg Bedding, so cozy). My husband was grateful to be on the ground floor (NO STAIRS). We travel across Kansas often and are getting to the age where we like to break up the trip. Russell is a quiet town with very nice people. Jon is a responsive host, even offered to save our forgotten beer for the next time we come. It’s all yours, Jon. Enjoy! We will stay here again next time through Russell.

My family and I stayed in two of these units for a nearby graduation. They were wonderful! Clean, up to date, comfortable, and we were able to walk to nearby restaurants. Jon was also very communicative, which I greatly appreciated!

This house was a perfect spot for us to land from the east and west. The owner/ host provided for every need. The property was clean and pristinely maintained. It is also a living museum. We loved the detail of historical explanations in every room and the coordinating binders to share the family history. Down to the robes hanging and available we were thrilled with our choice. We have family who boats at Wilson every week. You are certainly now our first choice and will be back. Thank you.

We were able to check in early, which was very nice! Our first impression was everything seemed even nicer than the pictures. We had looked a place that was a bit cheaper but right away we were happy we chose this place, it Elsa’s well worth it! Everything was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable! It was cozy and had a nice feel! Brent was very helpful and responsive to all our questions and even remember to check on my sister who had surgery the day we had arrived. Recommend 10/10
