Moloka‘i Bungalow Getaway, oceanfront property

JuliAnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great communication and problem solving skills. There were some issues at first that were not her responsibility, but she was able to resolve the issues quickly. The condo is very charming, the grounds are so beautiful, the included hotel amenities were a great perk. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. We had such a wonderful time and are sad to leave beautiful Molokai.

black sand beach house, ocean views, swim spa/pool

AlexisRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This is one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. You can tell how considerate the host is from the little things like providing welcome fruits and beach gears, to the abundance of toiletries and first aid kits. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up to the beautiful sunrise on the ocean. There is a stunning black sand beach 5 mins away on foot, and our kids had an amazing time even though we were worried about the nudity initially. People there were extremely respectful and we did not feel uncomfortable at all! Thank you for making our trip a magical experience!

Oceanfront Bungaloha (2023 Remodel on the Water)

BillRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This place was a gem- in a small neighborhood down a 3 mile winding (paved) road of Rt 11 to a true slice of oceanfront paradise. This villa sat on a black lava rocky section that ended with an amazing snorkeling spot that i dove in at least a dozen times. All kinds of colorful fish were plentiful right outside my door. The villa was clean and relaxing, gorgeous easily labeled kitchen, clean bathrooms, light and airy and full wall of windows to view the ocean. Large deckwas perfect for sunset watching. You just need to stock up for supplies- half hour at minimum to supermarket/ restaurants in either direction. But the distance adds to the solitude you feel when you are there. Defiantly would return

Palm Surf Bungalow

SidonieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
You’ve got both the ocean and the cute town of Paris at your doorstep, what more do you need? We loved having so many food choices (restaurants, cafes, grocery) in walking distance, and the lawn was perfect for kids to play. The covered porch overlooking the water is lovely. Inside everything is fresh and clean and as described. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again. One thing to know: you share the lawn with other units so while it feels overall very secluded and safe, there are occasionally people walking in front of your glass patio doors—so not complete privacy in that sense. We didn’t find it a problem though and our daughter was delighted to make friends with the “neighbors.”

Maui Beach House now with optional car add-on

MattRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gail and her husband are delightful ambassadors of the "aloha spirit" and wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and low maintenance. They had thoughtfully supplied the cottage on our arrival and were happy to make recommendations on activities at our request. The location was perfect for us, but may not be perfect for everyone. Every morning and night we were next to a small ocean beach in a quiet, residental location. There were no tourists in sight, only a few local surfers. It's not for everyone because it is not on a sandy beach a la Kihei, Wailea, or Kaanapali and you cannot walk to a restaurant from there. That said, the rest of the island is easily accessible from their location. We loved our peaceful stay and hope to stay there again in the future. Mahalo to Gail and her husband!

Artsy Hale Akala Cottage, Hōlualoa, Kona

RachaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
What a lovely little cottage that Lisa shared with us! Cozy and perfect for two. We sat on the screened in porch and played cards every night listening to the tree frogs after watching that sunset in the backyard. This was a lovely spot! Kitchen was perfectly stocked for casual meals. Kona coffee roasted by the owner was fantastic. We got to see her roasting barn and she introduced us to come of her friends on the island that had similar interests as us. Also had great food recs right down the road. What a beautiful setting and just a lovely owner. We loved our 2 nights in Kona Coffee Country!

North Country Farms cottage

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Huge, beautiful space; get lulled to sleep by stars and crickets and woken to a chorus of birdsong. The rainstorms were amazing (who needs tv?). The craftsmanship of this lodge is stunning. My only consideration was slightly ameliorated due to the remote-ish location - I'm a single female traveler and must be extremely aware of my personal safety, and I would have preferred to know ahead of time that the cottage doesn't have a lock to the door - the listing says contactless entry, though I looked again and didn't see this specifically noted on the listing (pls let me know if I missed). As a result of not being able to lock up, I had some trouble sleeping; being in the seclusion helped assuage my concern over any possible intruders (I come from a very urban setting and have a higher general need for security measures in my day to day so it was an adjustment). For some, such as those who travel in groups or who are accustomed to it, this can work, but for solos, something to consider.

The Jungalow

JennRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The jungalow is nothing short of amazing! Beautifully designed and decorated, serene, very well maintained. Definitely grab groceries if you plan to have food and drinks on hand during your stay, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the property off of the main road it did get tiring, but the property is worth it. The melody of the frogs at night is peaceful, you will absolutely not regret staying at the junglow. Debra gave clear instructions for entering the property and we found it with no trouble. We spend the days away from the property and returning in the evening it was HOT inside so I recommend leaving some windows open for airflow, you can thank me later lol

You Had Me at Aloha Getaway

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely time here. It was close to lots of activities, and about half an hour to the Kona area. There is a beach park min away, even walkable if you don't mind the hill. There are also plenty of other beaches a short drive away. You also need to drive to get to resturants and stores, but not very far. The house was nice, and clean with large decks. It had almost everything you might need with the exception of soap/shampoo for bathing. There is also a bin of beach gear there. There was a security camera that points toward one of the main hangout areas on the deck that made us feel a little uncomfortable, but we covered when at the house. There were also people staying downstairs (we new from other reviews this was a possiblity) so it's not super private, but they were family members of the owners and were very nice and respectful. They also gave us some great tips for places to go. All in all, it was a nice place and worked well for the things we wanted to do.

Heavenly Hawaiian Hideaway I (14 3441)

MandiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place is a special find! It’s extremely peaceful and the yard is beautiful!!! You will be greeted with a few gorgeous little geckos. A quaint place close to the beach with beautiful sunrises. The water pressure is great however it was asked to try and conserve water due to the system. The decor makes you feel like you are definitely on the island. It’s bright and fun. There is a wonderful four square church very close. We really enjoyed coming here!
