Brand New Studio Mountainview 1st-Floor | Patio

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Absolutely loved staying here. The ease of parking and walking right in, the outdoor shower, morning jogs right from the house with a view of the volcanoes all make this a great stay. An easier more laid back option than a resort or hotel with the same luxury feel.

An Exotic Retreat: most convenient home in Hilo/AC

EzekielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lily's Hale was one of the most unique Airbnb homes we have ever stayed at, and we have visited many around the world. It has a plantation vibe with a modern feel. The home is enormous. The AC units in each room provide excellent comfort for sleeping at night. The location is prime, right down the road from the airport. Hilo is where I grew up; therefore, this area allowed me to be centrally located to everything. You will not be disappointed. We wish we could have stayed for one more week since our rental home was not ready. That is how much we loved the place.

Ohia Modern Home - Harmony in Paradise

EmiRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This house is absolutely GORGEOUS - the pictures don’t do it justice. Owners have supplied far more than any other stay has. There were spices, coolers with ice packs, sporting equipment, sun screen - all the little things you wouldn’t think of bringing but end up needing. We plan on staying here again!!!

New! Waikoloa Beach Villas F32

BarbaraRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I don’t really understand why Red awning is involved. After we booked everything was through Kohalo property. Even the checkin codes were wrong from red awning. The place however was beautifully decorated brand new with all the supplies we needed. We spent most of the time on the lanai with its built in kitchen. Walk to queens shops. We drove to beaches but could have walked but with chairs etc it would have been difficult as 70 year old very fit people! Perfect for 2 couples who like to cook!

Mauna Lani Point H101

ZeeniaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We loved our stay at this resort. Beautiful, well maintained grounds, lovely view from the lanai where we watched sunsets in the evening. Responsive host that sent someone to fix a slow draining tub. The amenities in the house were as described. The appliances and interior were a little worn out, not well maintained and could use a little attention. Would come back for another stay if amenities repaired/maintained.

Holualoa Vacation Villa

MarcinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The house is located on a hill, at the end of a private road. While there's a neighbor on one side behind vegetation, another further up the hill and one you pass while driving up, it's mostly private. We felt like we were in our hidden sanctuary. There's a rainforest which adds lushness and life (birds) to the area. Inside, even though it's small, it has a nice layout where everything works well. It was super clean and designed in pleasant neutral colors that instantly make you feel like at home. The appliances are new and work great. Aliah responds quickly. With electrical outlets outside, it was possible for us to charge our hybrid rental car which was a great bonus. The biggest disadvantage is that its location in the hills means it has a rainforest microclimate. While it was almost always sunny and dry down in Kona, it was usually cloudy or rainy up there, usually from noon. This was a big disappointment for us. If you want to enjoy sun, it's better to stay near the coast.

6.5 acres Oceanfront Estate with 180-degree views!

BetsyRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Kailani Villa is in an absolutely gorgeous location on a secluded and large lot with abundant plants, fruit trees, and lots of space to wander. The ocean views are unforgettable and provide lots of opportunity for rainbow sightings in the afternoons when the moisture rolls in from the ocean. The home is spacious and allows for a nice balance of gathering and privacy. It's particularly convenient to have two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The outdoors is the real star here and it is tempting to spend as much time as possible lounging on the lanai in the hopes of seeing whales break the surface. It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown Hilo which offers fantastic food and shopping. There are activities all around to enjoy.

Blue Horizon Luxury Ocean Front Villa, 3 bedrooms

BrandyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. Being so close to the ocean is fantastic. Such wonderful views from the bedrooms and kitchen/living room. Our family of six made many wonderful meals in the open concept, kitchen and enjoyed dining on the lanai. Be sure not to miss the sunrise as you’re enjoying your morning coffee. Kim was once again wondeful host. We truly appreciated her generosity in offering us a few extra hours at checkout and refunding our cleaning deposit. We have family that lives in HPP and we try to come out regularly to visit. This will continue to be our go to spot if it’s available. Thank you for another wonderful stay Kim!!

Luxury Ocean View - Halii Kai 8D 2-Bedroom | PHV

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Charming condo in the nice private community; very quiet and yet close to restaurants, shops, beach. Great to enjoy sunsets from the balcony or at the local beach club. The condo had everything we needed for our stay, and James went above and beyond to provide some extra beach gear once we asked. Overall excellent location and very friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended!

The Onion House, Hawaii

JasonRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The Onion House is certainly the most remarkable place we’ve ever stayed! It’s conveniently located, and we loved its beautiful one-of-a-kind architecture with a paradisiacal pool, foliage, and ocean views. Note, however, the rental materials are very upfront and accurate in saying this isn’t a place suitable for everyone due to its unique construction and features. Terri and Jeanne were great with communication and very responsive. Cheers to the bold artistic vision the Onion House embodies, and to its current owners for their willingness to continue offering it as a destination - we’re so grateful we were able to experience all it offers!

Roberts Kolea corner condo was a great place to stay for a beautiful week in Waikaloa area! Close proximity to the pool and ocean and shops. Has a significant golf discount for those golf enthusiasts. The condo is well maintained despite, showing some minor wear and tear here and there. Communication was clear and responsive and would stay there again. A great week in Kona area paradise! Mahalo!

The home was the perfect size and the interior was just as it appeared online. The new sliding doors were wonderful. It would be nice to have more than 2 “glass” wine glasses. The kitchen was well equipped. The mattress pads need to be replaced, plenty of towels etc. we really enjoyed the home. We also have a home on Oahu and love the Big Island. Mahalo

Zen Garden - Peace and Quite

KurtRating, 5 stars3 months ago
First, I want to clarify why I didn’t give a full 5 stars for the description. Her description and photos are accurate but don’t tell the entire story of how perfect and private the room is. Tsing’s home is comprised of 3 separate buildings (basically instead of hallways between bedrooms she has sidewalks with roof coverings between bedrooms). The space she rents out is ~600 sq/ft building that is furthest from the main part of the house. In addition to the kitchenette and full bathroom, one entire wall is covered with two large glass doors overlooking flowering trees and bushes. (Beyond the foliage you have an ocean view if you are standing outside looking over the bushes.) Her entire residence is very private with additional privacy for the rental. Her views and sunsets from poolside are stunning and we spent a lot of daytime there. Tsing is a kind and lovely host who made us feel welcome and generously shared her picturesque home with us. Thank you for a very relaxing vacation!
