Cozy 2BR/2BA Haven near Botanical World Adventures

PhilipRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I enjoyed my stay at Denise's house. We didn't spend much time there except for sleeping, but it's a sectioned off quarter on the 1st floor of Denise's massive property. The AirBNB space was very large, 2 massive bedroom suites, a living room, and good sized kitchenette. It was very clean, tile floors, and a very pleasant place to stay. There are other people living on the property (I think her and her family), but the space felt private and I never felt bothered.

Sunrise FarmStay W/ 180 Degrees Ocean Views

TimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful location! Faces and oversees the ocean. There's a small mart nearby (a two minute drive) from the farm that has most things you'll need without having to drive out to a city. Owners supplied the majority of what we needed, including pots and pans, utensils, and some spices. They also provided us with a half dozen of farm fresh eggs! Lots of farm life, including chickens, geese, geckos, etc. Highly recommend this location!

Rustic studio deluxe bed in tropical fruit garden

ShellyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The hosts are wonderful - very responsive immediately and so welcoming. The location was perfect for seeing the volcano and experiencing the jungle on the Big Island. Easy to follow instructions and just as they described in the listing. I felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Palm Suite @ Hale-Hoola B & B

AshleyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a wonderful stay and are so thankful for the hospitality shown to us! The B&B is in the middle of forest trees, very tranquil, and we loved the sounds of all the birds and frogs and even the rooster and cow out back! Very comfortable beds, spacious room with extra amenities that weren’t listed like a microwave and mini fridge, and our suite had a lovely private lanai as well. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

Spacious and Lovely 2BR Apartment with Fast Wifi

KyleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
After staying at quite a few AirBnb's for work and vacation, I feel very lucky to have encountered such amazing hosts. Francis and his wife are no different. They are absolutely wonderful people who are very helpful and friendly, and offer a very nice place to stay right around all the fun things to do in Hilo. There house was very clean and well outfitted to make for a very comfortable stay for my colleague and I. There was ample parking, and the apartment was very spacious, with a huge kitchen and living room area. The two big bedrooms felt very comfy and there was lots of room to spread out. Francis and his wife asked if there was anything they could do for us, and his wife even brought fresh fruit from the trees they had near the house! It was a wonderful experience, and was exactly what my colleague and I needed to work and have a good support site from which to base our needs. Thank you again to both hosts for such an enjoyable experience!

Kumu Hale

LarryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences we've had. I say this because Jenell was a wonderful host and everything was just as advertised. If I had anything to add it would be that the enclosed patio was icing on the cake. We gathered each morning for coffee and breakfast and ended up spending time out in the afternoon as well. The temperature was perfect with afternoon breezes and we even grilled steaks one day on the gas BBQ which was provided. Just a wonderful experience and we hope to one day return.

Aloha Heaven: Tranquil Jungle Retreat in Paradise

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Da Coconut Farm is absolutely camping in paradise. The windowless hut with screen covered openings is like being directly in a jungle The local small lizards help with bug control. Better than watching TV. The property is very nice in a more remote area. 20-25 min from Pāhoa so a nice mellow drive and you have access to town. Exactly what we were looking for as a unique experience. James and his Ohana are very kind and great hosts. Plenty of outdoor activities on the property. Endless nature all around. If you are looking to get away from the crowds and busyness you have found the haven!

The Jedi Lanai

JessicaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

Hawaiian Paradise Pool-For Family Memories

NickiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Although they live in the property, they respected our privacy. House was clean and had everything we needed for our 6 week stay. The pool was incredible, which our kids and us frequently enjoyed. It was hard to leave and hope to be back again.

Pahoa: Upper Level w/ Lg lanai * Cool breezes*

DanielRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed a few days in a very nice hotel with great ammaenaties but It just felt like I was missing everything I love be the island anytime we were there. As soon as we pulled up to Sarah's I was happy we made the move. Her and her husband greeted us upon arrival an let us know where to park and how to access the house. Once upstairs sitting on the patio it's peaceful and serene. You feel like you have the entire place to yourself but anytime we needed anything, even advice on the best Thai Food or beach to take the kids snorkeling they were happy to guide us in the right direction. The bedrooms both have an additional back patio and if you just pop the doors open the Cogui frogs will sing you to sleep in the distance. Every other trip to the island I had spent staying with friends or family and our stay at Sarah's definitely captured the spirit of Ohana and Aloha in a way that a pricey hotel just could not. Definitely recommend

Mana House - Fun Rainforest Oasis w/ Ocean Views

DanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Just Fantastic. Even though it is advertised as off the grid, you still have all your amenities. It was great to disconnect. The views are amazing, Theresa gave us a private tour of the grounds. We spent a lot of time going places to see all of Hawaii. We could have just stayed put and still taken all the location had to offer. 10 Out of 10!

Beautiful Ohana on Sacred Land

JorgeRating, 5 stars3 days ago
it is a stunning place! it's a bit remote but with a car you can get around easily. But as the description says, it is a bit rustic, so if you want a hotel , this is not your place, would happily stay here again 🤗
