Family-friendly vacation rentals in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

Our group of ladies were excited to stay at SkySuite for a lovely weekend getaway in wine country! Saskia and Maarten have been very welcoming and always communicated with us in a polite and timely manner. SkySuite was presented to us in pristine condition, equipped with all of the amenities and supplies that you could need for a visit! It's a beautiful location in a private setting; we really enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and truly appreciated the accessibility features of SkySuite. The lakefront view from the property is truly unique for an Airbnb location, you will not be disappointed! Plenty of fresh towels, clean linens, and a lot of wonderful perks including a Nespresso machine! Saskia and Maarten were very accommodating and provided too notch hospitality, without any pressure and provided us with the space we all enjoyed. We will be recommending this property to others and would absolutely love to attend this property in the future for our visits to PEC!

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

Carola was very responsive whenever we needed to message her, which wasnt often. Her air b&b had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while we were 4 hours away from home. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and show her passion and pride for her property. There were a couple minor hiccups that were out of anyones control during our stay and she rectified them right away while also keeping us informed, and were not inconvenienced by the hiccups at all. The condition, location and her communication made our stay totally worth it. We rented the hot tub and it was a beautiful treat with the typical May 2/4 weather fluctuating. Carola added in thoughtful comforts hanging at the entrance to make our stay that much more enjoyable, it was thoughtful, sweet and appreciated. This is a must stay at location. We will definitely be back!

We just spent 5 nights at the postmaster's house and we had a wonderful time. Communication with Trevor was easy and everything was as described. The location is fantastic for a vacation, even with our 2 year old son. The environment around the house and the view from the backyard is very calming. We would, without hesitation, stay there again!!!

We recently stayed at Benjamin’s Cottage, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was thoughtfully designed with both kids and adults in mind. It truly had everything we needed for a relaxing, fun, and memorable family getaway. The location was quiet and scenic, yet close enough to local shops, trails, and attractions. It struck the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. Overall, the Cottage felt like a home away from home – but better. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a friends’ retreat, or a quiet escape, this place has something for everyone. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for having us!

Staying in this beautiful hut with the big windows was ammazing. We saw a porcupine, a beaver and many birds! Would love to come back.

This cottage was one of the best we have gone to! This cottage is a jewel on Boshkung Lake. We enjoyed the views, sitting on the dock and having dinner in the screened in deck. We hope to return again soon, thank you Bruce and family for a fantastic weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect, close to services and all the activities around Sandbanks. The property is spotless, very well maintained, spacious and peaceful, ideal for relaxing by the water. The sunsets are absolutely stunning, no need to go anywhere, the show is right there. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful if you need anything. The cottage is super clean, well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My husband and I stayed at Alan and Rosalie’s place for our honeymoon with our pup Phoebe. We had the best time ever. The photos don’t even do this place justice. It really is a little slice of heaven. So private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed going on walks through the various trails that are well maintained and relaxing on the dock. We will most definitely be back to visit! Alan and Rosalie were also very welcoming and responsive!

This is Airbnb concept working at its best. Ken’s place was a home away from home. Not just a mere house to generate extra income. Great care was put in for someone to feel good staying there ( night lights meticulously placed around the house for navigating oneself in the dark - just an example) . We found the house in immaculate cleanliness ( thank you Jackie). Ken was always present via messages to address us, suggest activities, provide general logistics of area. The house is a gem, with lots of windows and light, large kitchen with anything you might need, and very comfortable beds with premium mattresses. Thank you Ken, we’d love to be back soon 🙏🏻

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

We just returned from a weekend with our extended family at Crossroads of the County. The home is beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you can think of. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and spices making it easy to make your own food there. The location itself is also a quick drive to anywhere you want to go in the area. We loved how kid friendly the location was with toys for the kids, and even plates and cups + playpen and high chair making it a lighter packing trip for us. We would definitely (and hope to!) return again!

We loved our stay at Mark and Betty's chalet. The place was quiet and clean. There was plenty of space for our two families, a beautiful deck space for enjoying a morning coffee, an indoor pool for the kids to use at the nearby resort (at a reasonable cost and only a 5 minute walk from the chalet) and plenty of hiking trails nearby. The hosts were responsive and offered helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed Mark and Betty's art collection, the many klompen (for the Dutch in us!) and the giant pileated woodpecker that would visit the birdfeed in the morning.

We had a great stay at Thomas' place. He met us at check in, showed us the building, parking and any details we needed to know. He was very responsive, provided early check in, and coordinated parking spots for both our vehicles. The place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

We had the absolute best trip, and Erica’s place played a huge part in that. The property was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and so comfortable. Erica was incredibly responsive and organized from the very start, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. We truly enjoyed every moment in the space and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
