Bus connections to Passau are very good during the week. On weekends, there are fewer buses on the road, but the city bus runs from Kastenreuth every 20 minutes.

The holiday flat in Landhaus Ameisberg in Mitternschlag has a wonderful view of the mountains. The accommodation consists of a living room, 2 bedrooms with double beds, a gallery with a sofa bed for 2 people, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom and a guest WC and thus offers space for 6 people. Facilities also include high-speed WiFi with a dedicated workstation for working from home, a washing machine, satellite TV, children's books and toys. A baby cot is also available.

The Klopferbacherl flows at the foot of the property and the park offers a spacious children's playground in addition to a pub pool.
