In addition to its ideal location overlooking the climatic health resort of Todtmoos and the pilgrimage church, Schwarzwaldhaus Schönbühl offers a unique feel-good atmosphere. Originally built as a sanatorium, it was run as a guesthouse for decades. For almost 100 years, people have felt comfortable here, spent their holidays here and recovered. The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

In the kitchen, the basic equipment such as spices (vinegar, oil, salt, pepper...), dish towels, detergent and various cleaning agents are available. A Senseo coffee maker and a Sodastream (for making sparkling water), are available. In the converted attic there is a hammock and a chaise longue to relax.
