Vintage Camper Farm Stay

CynthiaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This place was so cute. It was easy to locate and signs clearly marked which gate to use. I loved the sights and the animals during my night stay. There was a trampoline, swing set, a hammock, picnic table and an outdoor small tub/pool to soak in. I realized after I booked that there was an outdoor shower that I was uncomfortable about, but I rigged the shower curtain and it remained closed as I showered under the night sky. I put my clothes and towel in a plastic bag since I forgot my robe and that allowed me to change and keep my clothes dry. I recommend shoes to slip on to walk back into the camper. I forgot my charger but they had USB ports that I used with my charging cable. The DVD’s that I wanted to watch didn’t work, but it forced me to have more outside time. No regrets. Would 1000% book again. I look forward to solo/couple/small family trips in the future here and it’s pet friendly!

Market Street House

I was lucky enough to know about this gem already and wanted to experience it firsthand. Blocks from the square a perfect distance to walk to first Friday to enjoy galleries, food, entertainment. The layout, furnishings and finishes are beautiful and so comfy. If you love all things Texas, you’ll get your own gallery experience before you step out of the house. The back patio is a perfect place to have coffee and listen to the birds. I also recommend walking or driving the nearby neighborhoods to enjoy the other lovely homes in this part of town.

Place was awesome! Private. Big enough for 2-3 ppl. Get for couples getaway! Animals were sooooo friendly, place was clean. Good tools and equipment to cook. Be aware of spiders, they weren’t bothering me. But they are there. Walked the path to the pigs, so adorable!!

Downtown Art Studio Apartment

BeatrizRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a great stay at this above-garage apartment in Lockhart. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the town square, H-E-B, and the city park trail. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The bed was cozy, and while the A/C was a bit loud, it acted as nice white noise. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the Wi-Fi was easy to connect to with clear instructions. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was a nice touch. I only briefly met the host, who was friendly and welcoming. One small quirk: even when I turned off the A/C, the compressor still cycled occasionally - not a big issue, just something I noticed. I also appreciated realizing the apartment was over the garage, so I didn’t have to worry about walking quietly. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. Highly recommended!

The Hobbit's Nest

AnnRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The Hobbit’s Nest was exactly what I needed and was looking for. This was my first Air BnB experience and it was easy & hassle free. The price paid was very reasonable. EXQUISITE details. My dog loved the ramp up! The host had everything we needed! The AC worked great!! There’s a small fridge. Grill was used for every meal and all utensils and plates were available. Propane was full. I could not find the fire starter but there was dry wood. We ended up not being able to do s’mores because of the rain. Beware: we got in after a heavy rain and it rained again the second night. Because of this, the rain water was dripping down the walls of the treehouse and through the ceiling. Limited space after setting up the two cots for my sons and was difficult to find a spot that water wasn’t dripping down on them while they slept. Had to use towels and buckets. Grass was really high so couldn’t see trail well. Oh- smell of sewage was strong while grilling so was a bit unappealing but we made due.
