Walk to the Beach from Cozy Cottage

The house has a cozy fireplace, a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the front yard and front porch, a fully equipped kitchen, DVD's, board games, and plenty of books. The Master Bedroom features a king sized bed. The second bedroom has two twins, which can be made into a king (for an added $75 charge). The living room is equipped with a queen sized sofa bed. The entire home is decorated in a beautiful blue and white beach theme, high-end finishes, and equipped with everything to make your stay perfect. As a guest in our home, you have access to all interior spaces, a full backyard, and an off street driveway. You also have access to a storage shed in the backyard that has beach toys, one cruiser style bike, beach chairs, a s'mores center and tools for cooking out. Additional bikes can be rented at the bike shop about a half mile up the road. Info on rental rates is included at the home for your convenience. If you desire, you can also access Newport's Fitness and Aquatic Center using complimentary passes provided to our guests. To access, simply let us know you'd be interested in your initial introductory message and upon reservation confirmation we will let you know how to access the passes stored in the house. Your stay at The Cozy Cottage includes our "Best Of Newport" guidebook with our personal recommendations for restaurants and activities in the local area. During your stay you can also text us with any urgent questions. Located in Nye Beach, which is referred to as "the Gem of the Oregon Coast.” Explore lively eateries, pubs, upscale gift and clothing shops, and the Newport Performing Arts Center. Take time to visit the Rogue Brewery and the Oregon Coast Aquarium. From our home you can walk to everything in Nye Beach, and are just a short drive from all that Newport has to offer. Newport is approximately a three hour drive from Portland, Oregon. Animals are not allowed in this home as it is designated as an animal-allergen free home due to allergies on behalf of the homeowner. Also absolutely No Smoking is allowed anywhere on the property including inside the house, in the yard or in the driveway.

There are lots of things to do in Lincoln city: shop at the outlet mall, gamble at the casino, take a culinary class, go to the local museum, check out a hike, take a surf lesson, or just hang at the house and watch the wales, surfers and waves from one of our two decks. Our vacation home is very close to the beach, the mall, restaurants and theaters and is on the Ocean side of Hwy. 101. There are great views from any level and nearly every window. You’ll love it here because of the views, the location, the ambiance, the like-new condition and the decks. We enjoyed our stay overall — the home is in a great location, clean, and comfortable for a group. One of the listed amenities wasn’t fully functional during our time there, but the host was very responsive and did their best to provide a solution. While it wasn’t ideal, we really appreciated their communication and effort to make things right. We’d definitely recommend this place to others!

It’s a short walk to the beach and the store/ market in town as some great sandwiches, food, coffee etc. The space itself was spotless and perfect for a weekend trip. Book it! You won’t regret it.

Thank you Robert for hosting us. Such a clean room, easy check in, and beautiful views. Perfect place to visit with a family as you have everything you need in your room for an easy vacation with kids (kitchen, laundry, more then one bathroom, site has nice walking path and basketball court, and the 3 pools are a huge plus). Very nice home and beautiful/quiet neighborhood. Great set up for 4 adults and 1 infant. We were able to keep baby away from other guests to avoid waking them up which was nice. Has plenty of supplies for cooking which we appreciated. Close to beach access and casino if you enjoy that. Host is super responsive. Thank you!

Our first time staying here, the view was great, the access point to the beach was so convenient! the bedroom was spacious for us and the bed was so soft we slept great! We brought our dog and she enjoyed climbing the stairs daily. Only a few down falls for me was having the dog area on the opposite side of the building to where our room was and Sadie (our puppy) wasn’t a huge fan of the pebble rock for the dog area. Also, not having a smart tv to connect to our different accounts was a bummer but having cable was good. Overall, our dislikes wouldn’t stop us from coming back.
