The nearest supermarket is less than 1 km away and the bakery is only a 2-minute walk. If necessary, a bread roll service is possible on Saturdays. Riesa is located approximately midway between the cities of Leipzig and Dresden directly on the beautiful Elbe. The Elbe Cycle Path is about 3 km away.

The Sonnenlandpark as well as Karl's Erlebnisdorf Döbeln are a short drive of about 25 minutes away. The valley of castles can be easily explored from here by bike.
