An oasis of calm and peace. A large space as many have mentioned and also a bit dated. That doesn’t take anything away from the experience though. Marie is delightful and proactive with communications. Reaching out when the weather became cold to see if we needed extra blankets was very thoughtful. The gift bags were also a lovely touch. We felt very safe and had everything we needed as well as clear instructions.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Karen’s house. It was a wonderful place to stay at and reconnect with our family. There were enough rooms and a lot of sitting areas indoors and outdoors to accommodate a large family. Also Karen was a very helpful and accommodating host. When we needed anything she was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Leroy was a brilliant host and the place was stunning. Enjoyed my stay!

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

Michael is very committed, friendly, extremely helpful and easily accessible! The house offers a lot of space for a large group, free space to enjoy and relax. The garden and the braai area invite you to linger for hours. The furnishings throughout the house leave nothing to be desired, everything is in impeccable condition, the rooms are very spacious, it just has a lot of space! The kitchen is very spacious and has all the appliances needed for cooking, baking, sizzling! The house has a lady who takes care of the rooms, the cleanliness and the care of the house twice a week, more on request. She is a very warm and kind person, always happy to help. The gardeners are very committed, keep the beautiful garden very clean and very well maintained. In short: a little paradise. For us as golfers all the more because the house allows the view of the Parkview GC…always exciting to watch how other golfers interpret the game for themselves.

A truly wonderful place to spend a few days (or longer) in the heart of Sandton. I will certainly be back.

We had a lovely time at Sigrid's place. We did struggle a bit to find it (in the dark), and we were warned about arriving after dark, but still felt that there were some key turns where signage could've been helpful. Apart from that, it is a great place to stay, spacious, neat, clean, and private, in a beautiful natural setting. The fireplace outside is also great. We will go back whenever there is another opportunity.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stanley & Alison's cottage for a long stay, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our cat, Meadow, was warmly welcomed, which meant so much to us. The cottage is nestled among stunning trees and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its location is incredibly convenient—close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, Norwood Mall, and just about anything else we needed. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for linens. The weekly visits from the friendly cleaner and helpful gardener were a lovely bonus and added to the ease of our stay. Stanley & Alison were excellent hosts, and we truly loved every moment of our time here. We can’t recommend this cottage enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated retreat. Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

Jeremy and Janet were absolutely wonderful hosts who welcomed both me and my pup with open arms. They're genuinely lovely people - the kind you could chat with for hours about anything and everything. Their helper Kingsley was fantastic too, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is stunning - gorgeous architecture with beautiful paintings throughout that honestly made me feel like I was staying in some charming European home. The neighborhood felt really safe as well. I parked on the street every day without any worries and enjoyed walking around the area regularly. Overall, this was such a great experience with truly exceptional hosts. I'd recommend Jeremy and Janet to anyone looking for a special place to stay - you won't be disappointed!

Great stay at Wandas. She accommodated us quite late and made sure everything was ready. House was amazing and very close to clubhouse.

Firstly the whole place is amazing, so peaceful and clean. The garden is breathtaking!!!! How can I forget to mention the service? The caretaker is super friendly and so helpful. I’d highly recommend this place.

We had a friendly stay, all our possible needs were thoughtfully attended to, our doggies were welcomed, we felt truly welcome too. The queensize bed was comfortable, the heater was switched on to chase away the winter cold. The interiors are peaceful and tasteful. I'll recommend it any time. Excellent for people who need to be close to the Eugene Marais hospital. Immaculate lawn and garden. 100% to Shane as a host for hospitality, and caring, yet respecting our privacy. Ample hot water for the shower, no skimping with liquid soao and shampoo. Excellent worth for money. Thank you, Shane!

We loved staying here! The host are hospitable and very friendly. They have a bag in the garage, that my husband loved. If I would say the place needs something, it would be a heated blanket. Other than that, the gas heater worked fine in the living room area.

This cute place was neat as a pin and extremely comfortable. Lots of little “extras” We were very grateful for the coffee, milk and rusks provided and all the little bathroom amenities. This was a perfect safe location for the places that we needed to visit while my son was on a school tour. I couldn’t fault a thing from original booking, communication to arrival and checking in, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we needed to come to Centurian from KZN again.
