The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

Idyllic cottage retreat

This romantic retreat is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Butterton which overlooks the beautiful Manifold Valley in the Peak District. The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. This cosy hideaway is an ideal couples escape featuring a stunning bedroom with vaulted beamed ceiling and luxury features throughout. It has a boutique hotel feel in rural heaven.

Delightful Studio House-superb location!

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.

We are in our 10th year of hosting (7 years on Airbnb) The Cobbles is our first holiday rental. Ground floor flat in the centre of Buxton walking distance to all tourist attractions decking area to the back of the flat. Street parking (free) (no permits) (no yellow lines ) Well behaved dogs (max 2 ) welcome to (pet fee applies ) We have a brand new larger flat upstairs called Cannons Loft it’s in the same building, sleeps up to 5 people, perfect if 2 families want to holiday together.

Located in the White Peak limestone village of Earl Sterndale with stunning views of the distinctive hills of Chrome, Parkhouse and High Wheeldon and the Derbyshire Dales. Hilldale Cottage is perfect for families, friends and couples alike seeking an escape within the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage has a south facing garden with Summerhouse.

Spacious Scandinavian style hideaway with log fire

The property is in a delightful and secluded position on the south facing side of Darley Hillside with views over the valley. The main living area is on the upper floor, accessed directly from the driveway and car-port via a hallway leading to the master bedroom and ensuite; living room with open log fire, dining area and internal balcony access to 2-storey atrium complete with spiral staircase; cloakroom; toilet, and kitchen with tree top external terrace.

“The Goods Van” at Stoop Farm

Relax in total comfort, in our converted 1950s railway goods van. Once common place on farms around the Peak District this little gem is far removed from the animal shelter it once was! Fitted out to the highest quality, featuring a king sized bed, comfy sofa, kitchen, log burner and smart TV, etc. Something quite special, situated in its own secluded area, a few steps away from the magnificent views of Chrome hill and the Dove valley beyond.

Lavender Cottage at Hawthorn Farm

Lavender Cottage is part of a converted barn at Hawthorn Farm. The cottage offers self catering accommodation, which comprises of two double bedrooms and one double/twin room all with their own en-suite’s, a fully fitted well equipped kitchen/diner and a spacious open plan lounge. Ample free on site parking is available for guests. The cottage is in easy walking distance of the town centre and available to book all year round.

Cheedale lodge is situated at Farditch Farm, Chelmorton, and surrounded by beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Countless walking routes just on your doorstep, this really is a perfect base for your next adventure. Converted 1870s chapel. Renovated in August 2021. Well placed for trips into the Peak District or to Buxton; walking, climbing, and biking all close to hand . Outside is a large drive with CCTV and private seating area. Parking for 2 cars. Bicycle storage. Please read house rules before booking. We live at the rear in the adjoining church hall. Quiet guests appreciated.
