A lovely, cozy (complete privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district; you will be staying with the harbor master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam corn mill. Come here to relax with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle; you will find peace and quiet here, and you will be awakened by the titmouses, blackbirds, and sparrows (sometimes on Sundays by the church bells). Hoeve Vertrouwen

You are welcome to stay on our organic snowdrop farm all year round. From December through April you will be able to enjoy thousands of snowdrops, stinsenplants, and a free tour around the nursery. We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within easy reach of local towns, villages and attractions. The farm is a beautiful and quiet spot, in the middle of the Noord-Holland countryside of the Wieringermeer polder. Our own small green piece of paradise. We hope to see you soon!

The Landscape

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Grand Canal House in Harlingen

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

The house is very suitable for young families and features a spacious front and back garden (with trampoline). The backyard faces south. On the many sunny days, the garden is flooded with sunlight. The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south.
