De Grutto; luxury spacious studio with private bathroom

In our Homestay, you can recharge and unwind in a warm and relaxed atmosphere in the spacious luxury studios (see also adv. De gierzwaluw). The Grutto is equipped with a box spring, a seat, a workplace, a kitchenette and a private bathroom. In the sunny garden, there are terraces and a covered bicycle shed. Located in a picturesque rural village, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes, you can enjoy the versatile nature and also the lively city center with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

“Koesen” means sleeping well in Frisian. And that will be possible in the comfortable beds, made with luxurious bedding. In addition, "it Koeshûs" is a charmingly furnished, quietly located accommodation, equipped with all the luxuries, with 4 bedrooms. The loft living room with open kitchen is located on the 1st floor, with an adjacent beautiful roof terrace. On the ground floor are the 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. There is free parking at the door. The bustling city center is within a 2-minute walk.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Cycling through the Gaasterland forests, sailing, sloops, supping, swimming in the water bottles or walking through the farmlands. 15 min to Sneek, Lemmer or Stavoren, the Jopie Huisman museum in Workum, skating museum in Hindeloopen or the shipping museum in Sneek. Enjoy your well-deserved rest here. Treat yourself and enjoy a delicious meal.

Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

Cozy loft with rural views!

The apartment is located in a very idyllic, quiet place in the beautiful Frisian landscape near the IJsselmeer. Originally, the loft was a cooking studio, where delicious dishes were cooked. The loft is spacious and has been completely converted since June 2020. It offers a lot of privacy, tranquility, a private terrace (with rural views) and free parking. In the beautiful surroundings, close to Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can enjoy hiking, biking and boating.

B&B Loft-13 is an attractive, luxurious B&B on the border of Friesland and Groningen. Unwind and relax in your own sauna and wood-fired hot tub (optional/reservation). Excellent base for wonderful cycling and hiking trips. As well as business overnight stays, as you are a 5-minute drive from the A-7 towards various major cities. We provide a luxurious, varied breakfast, using fresh local products and of course the fresh free-range eggs from our own chickens.

Our cozy Chalet de Huismus is located on a quiet 4-star ANWB Camping in Rijs, directly on the Rijsterbos in Gaasterland. The insulated chalet has access to a rural furnished living room with air conditioning, 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen and bathroom + 2 bicycles on loan.
