We really enjoyed our stay at Rick & Steph's hut. The location is perfect – secluded and private with beautiful views of the hills surrounding Mudgee, yet just a short drive into town or nearby wineries. They really have put a lot of thought into the place, from the architecture and environmental footprint, to the amenities they provide for guests. Every little thing is considered and provided – small details that matter like towel drying racks, a portable lamp to light the BBQ area, kindling for the firepit, flyscreens on all windows and doors, Bluetooth speaker for music. All you need to do is rock up and enjoy yourself. Steph & Rick are lovely and extremely responsive to all questions. They clearly want their guests to have the best time possible. Worth every penny to treat yourself to a luxury escape with your partner. We look forward to coming again.

Bec’s place is a great place to base yourself while exploring the Mudgee region. Extremely comfortable bed and nice soft sheets. Great water pressure in the shower. I loved the morning greeting from the two dogs and the cat! It had everything I needed and a few little treats which made for a lovely stay. Bec checked in with me during my stay to make sure I had everything I needed which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the region and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

I spent a relaxing week at this cosy and charming retreat with countryside side views. Tim and Chontelle were lovely, welcoming and accommodating. Chontelle checked in with me to make sure I had everything and even went out of her way to grab some groceries for me which I was very grateful for. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was a bonus for a toasty and warm experience. The farm animals were adorable, dogs were super friendly and cuddly. It was a peaceful, quiet and private getaway from Sydney’s noise and pollution! Highly recommend this unique rural retreat. I highly recommend booking with Kylie and Lochlan, we will definitely be back! The property was spotless and very thoughtfully prepared. The fresh breakfast and variety of snacks was wonderful touch that elevated our stay.There was even a toy box and kiddie kitchenware which was an added bonus for my little one ! Lochlan took us for a walk on the property and talked to us about life on farm which was very insightful. In the mornings the guinea fowls and geese greeted us as we sipped out coffee on the veranda. The surrounds are beautiful and only a stone throw away from Mudgee town. I cannot recommend this place enough - thank you Kylie and Lochlan, incredible hosts!
