House vacation rentals in Hardy County

Sarah's place was ABSOLUTLY PERFECT!! This was a lady's trip. The house was MUCH bigger than it looks in the pics. It was nice and close to Edinburg Burgess' Electric Bike Tours for biking the wineries. It was only 40 min to the Shenandoah River Outfitters, for a relaxing kayak down the river. FABULOUS AIRBNB location! Beautiful morning walks around the farm/pond! The view from this house cannot be beat. The house was clean and WELL STOCKED! I will be back with my husband and friends! Thank you Sarah and Sue!

Our stay at Ted and Lisa’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect setting for our newborn’s very first adventure. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The home was extraordinarily clean and full of special touches that made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. We’ve stayed at over 100 Airbnbs combined, and without a doubt, Ted and Lisa have been the best hosts we’ve ever had. Their warmth, attention to detail, and hospitality set a new standard. We enjoyed afternoons by the serene creekside, took in the stunning views during nearby hikes, and loved the convenience of the local resort and golf course—both fantastic and worth checking out. This was more than just a trip; it was a special experience we’ll always cherish. Thank you, Ted and Lisa, for making it so wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

This is the perfect place to get away. Madeline was fantastic about messaging us and letting us know what to expect, things to do, and info about the house. She also is one of the most thoughtful host we’ve encountered. The space was perfect for what we were looking for. Comfortable bed, stocked with essentials, looked just like the photos, and had some extras we were not expecting. The road to the cabin is steep and unpacked, but Madeline let us know about before we arrived so we knew what to expect. We were so grateful that we could bring the dogs with us. The location is perfect if you want a quiet getaway. It was about an hour away from Luray and the Shenandoah NP entrances.

My family and I love the place it’s so peaceful and beautiful it’s perfect to disconnect from the noise of the city , was easy to communicate with Joanna and the persons at the farm was so friendly! I definitely recommend this place!!!

Sparkling Bear Lodge is neat, welcoming, and has a beautiful view. My husband and I were looking for a small getaway where we could enjoy a change of pace and scenery with a solid internet connection and a view we wouldn't have to sacrifice if the weather kept us inside all day. The landscaping and circular drive were very nice, the kitchen had everything we needed (including a bottle opener and a cheese grater, which we've gotten used to taking to rentals with us), the internet connection never let us down, the artwork was charming, and Bryce Mountain Escapes was friendly and quick to respond in every interaction. Loved the deck, generous windows, and open living area. We enjoyed our stay!

The home and location were absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a full month while waiting to close on our new house, and Jennifer couldn’t have been more kind, responsive, or accommodating. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was tidy and smelled wonderful. We especially enjoyed the koi pond outside, and our little boy had a blast playing in the yard. There’s a great local brewery, an ice cream shop, a gas station, and a restaurant just down the road. All in all, our stay couldn’t have gone any better, and we’re so grateful for Jennifer’s warm hospitality.

This place was everything we were looking for and more. We felt secluded in nature but also fully equipped with all the amenities we could’ve asked for. Excellent seating and eating areas both inside and out. Excellent fire pit. Incredibly spacious house. The game room was an absolute hoot and kept us entertained for hours when we weren’t swimming or hanging out outside. Beautifully maintained hot tub, pool, and outdoor lounge space. The beds were comfortable. Jason was an excellent communicator and gave us amazing recommendations in town. The house was very well stocked with towels, cutlery, firewood, etc. Almost everyone in the group agreed that this was the best Airbnb they had ever stayed at. We loved it here and would go back in a heartbeat. 11/10 would recommend.

This house was so amazing 10/10 experience and beautiful had everything you could possibly need for your stay. its big enough for a big group the kitchen was definitely my favorite part Its close to bryce resort if you are going there. PSA: Use google maps for this address we used apple maps and it took us to the wrong house and we were lost but luckily everything worked out and the host was great on that part

We have rented many Airbnb‘s this one was the cleanest it was absolute beautiful. The home was furnished perfectly the beds are amazingly comfortable. The layout of the house is perfect for multiple families. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful access to the house very convenient. I would highly recommend this house for a rental. We came for a wedding and the home was conveniently close to the venue. It was perfect! Our family was very impressed!!!

Took a relaxing week long vacation in the mountains to hike, sit by the fire, and chill. It was exactly what we were looking for. We brought our fur children and they very much enjoyed the hiking that was in the area and the fenced in backyard was huge! Overall, we had an amazing time and we would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

We had an absolutely great time with my family and friend. Jillene's place was just as described in the pictures. We had no trouble finding the place. It was spotless clean and beautifully decorated. Jillene's was also very responsive. She was also kind enough to let us checkout late. I highly recommend this beautiful little cabin for a calm family getaway.

This was our first time in West Virginia. And Sherry’s place feels right at home. The gorgeous mountains surrounding the place are stunning and serene. The house has all the basic amenities. We utilized the kitchen (a lot!), and watched TV and played games in the living room. Sherry communicated all the instructions prior to check in. She was also so kind— we arrived late after midnight and she turned on the porch lights for us so we didn’t have trouble finding the house. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting WV!

The place was peaceful, clean, private, and everything looked just like the photos. The instructions were clear and precise. Checking in and checking out was super easy. Enjoyed our stay! Nice kitchen and beds! Well presented home and outside. Heat and AC worked well and we never had the water run out like it says it might since it’s drawn from the well. Plenty of coffee provided even for 4 adults.

This was one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. Gorgeous space, would love to come back!! Usually the space ends up being smaller than the pictures looked, this was the opposite and the place was bigger than I expected. The many numerous bedrooms were all well sized and equipped. So many INCREDIBLY cozy couches. Many many naps were had. Perfect big social areas but also separate spots. The wraparound porch/deck was a dream!!! Mineral water hot tub, although it didn't go above 99.7 F. The kitchen was the kitchen of my dreams. It was the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at an airbnb for cutlery, serving dishes, and appliances. <3 My only thing is that the gps did not take you directly there and I was surprised to not see any additional instructions on their check in instructions. But the GPS says you've arrived on the middle of a mountain road with no reception. Luckily our host responded with directions quickly and check in was a breeze after that.

It was a beautiful house — historic architecture and modern finishes. We traveled with young children and senior citizens, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have wished for in an accommodation. Host was prompt in all communication. Offered early check in and later check out, which was super helpful. Would highly recommend.

The trip was very enjoyable and the house is very nice and I liked the view there with all the equipment available I did not lack any equipment and I will definitely come back again thank you for this wonderful hosting

Great place, would definitely recommend!

We had an incredible 3 night stay. The kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook, and the place was Spotless! The fenced in yard was a major plus since we had dogs, and the hot tub was a great amenity. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed, we look forward to coming back!

The farm house was absolutely gorgeous and more than enough space for our large group of 12. We especially liked that the kitchen(s) were well equipped and stocked for cooking big meals with many people. Add the lovely and peaceful setting and it amounted to the perfect place for a long weekend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stickley Hall - such a beautiful historic home. We booked last minute and appreciated the location in the shadow of Shenandoah National Park. Erin kindly reached out as soon as I booked in case I had any questions. Upon arrival, we were greeted by lots of brand new games, coloring books, and toys for our kids in tow. What a treat for them and we were so grateful for such helpful distractions as we got settled in. In addition to lots of fruit and soft drinks in the fridge, everything was in tip top shape! We had a minor issue when we first arrived with the Wi-Fi and Erin was immediately responsive and had it fixed within minutes. We can’t say enough great things about this property and would love to come back sometime soon!

I absolutely loved staying at Cliffside Falls. It was everything I imagined it would be and more! Rick was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. There was even a gift basket when we arrived. The spectacular views, gorgeous waterfall, extremely comfortable beds, robes in each room, and more were so nice. Those little touches really made our entire trip so special. I am definitely planning on staying here again and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a beautiful getaway!
