Everything about this place is great – the area is well-connected, the market is nearby, and all the essentials are easily accessible. It's a convenient and comfortable spot overall. The only concern is that it's located on the 4th floor and there’s no lift. The stairs can be a bit challenging to climb, especially for older people and even slightly tiring for younger ones after a long day.

We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

The access is easy and convenient and the apartment is in close proximity to Chowrasta with a walking distance to it. The premises are well kept by disciplined and well mannered staff. Would recommend this place for every individual who is intending to have a relaxing stay in the heart of the town of Darjeeling

Rohan is an exceptional host... His parents are very kind, they treated us like their own child. I stayed there for 5 days and that feel was amazing. This place is also at walkable distance from Zoo,Happy valley, Tanzing rock and Rope way. And taxi stand is just across the road...His mother makes very tasty food.I mentioned this because when you climb hills and get tired you need good food. And She charges minimal for this... I will highly recommend This property😇

Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

The visit was for 1 day But something that I would love to go back for. The view the balcony it was amazing. The staff was very helpful and the Michele the host was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Sangeeta’s charming homestay, The Attik!! I traveled with my wife and two sons, and the space was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Uday and Sangeeta were extremely warm and gracious hosts—very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. Uday uncle offered us great local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. While, Sangeeta auntie made our stay memorable with extremely delicious breakfast during our stay! It felt like home during the interesting and warm conversations with uncle and we were touched with the humble and grounded gesture of uncle and auntie! Overall, the neighborhood was peaceful and safe, ideal for families. We truly appreciated the thoughtful aesthetic touches and personalized hospitality that made our trip special. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area—whether you're a family, couple, or sol
