The cottage is well suited for relaxation, fishing or even boating. In the large sauna of the cottage you can admire the flowing water, refreshment is easy in the always open rapids or in the outdoor hot tub. Come unwind in a peaceful and cozy cabin with family, friends, or even a small work team. The cabin is in a quiet location, but still close to the activities and hustle and bustle of Himoksa. The nearest downhill ski slopes are about 3 km away, and the ski resort is about 6 km away. On weekends, you can visit Himos Arena to listen to artists and enjoy the great atmosphere. In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 meters away, so it’s easy to go for a morning swim. There’s plenty to do all year round!

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

A newly completed, winter-inhabitable, electrified holiday home is available for rent, in a beautiful lake cove where the evening sun shines. A newly built beach with a sandy bottom and a renovated beach sauna with a tub can also be found on the beach. The place is located in Kärkkäälä, on the shore of the lake. On the borders of Hankasalmi and Konneves. Jyväskylä is about 70 km away, Kuopio 120 km. Hankasalmi is about 25 km away and Konnevesi center is about 15 km away.

A 60m2 log cabin on the quiet island of Paanalan, with both ferry and road access. In addition to the cottage, the plot has a wood-fired beach sauna with a water carrier. The cottage is located about 45 km from Jyväskylä. The nearest stores are located in Hankasalmi (about 10 miles away). Paanala Island is one of the 36 quiet areas in Central Finland. Kayaks, sub-boards, a rowing boat, and a tramboline are in use. Drinking water for the cabin comes from a well.

Saari Lokonen - private island & log cabin

It´s always Sunday on the island! Saari Lokonen is a calm private island in the middle of Finland (near Etelä-Konnevesi national park). Rowing boat, two kayaks and a canoe available for free during the vacation. The car must be left on the mainland. Rowing distance to the island 300m Honka cottage built in 1997. Bathroom & sauna renovated in 2017. There are no other cabins on the island. Running water comes from the lake, not drinkable.
