This "Hataba" is a DIY renovated building that was once used as a weaving factory (Hataba) in my parents' home, and is a one-of-a-kind inn.The living and dining room with beams and the calm Japanese-style room are surrounded by the quiet nature of the mountains, and are popular with group travelers and guests from overseas. The entire inn is rented out, so you won't meet other guests, and the bath, toilet, and kitchen are all private.You can enjoy a private stay to your heart's content. The host (Ken) or family lives in a separate building on the premises, and we have a system in place to provide support in case anything happens, so you can feel at ease even in a new place. Also, if the host Ken is at home, you can have a drink together and talk about the local area. ⚠️Note The surroundings are rich in nature, so please refrain from booking if you are concerned about insects, frogs, cats, etc. The interior makes use of handmade floors, and there are burrs, small holes, and cracks.Slippers are provided, but please refrain from using them if you are concerned. The interior is designed to feel the Taisho period of Japan (1912-1926)!You can enjoy a room with antique lighting and furniture that matches the era. Outside the living room, there is a traditional garden that feels the four seasons, and the time to sit on the sofa and watch is exceptional!It is lit up at night and the sound of the water echoes quietly. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and it can accommodate up to 5 people! Use the low bed or futon when sleeping!Please enjoy a Japanese lifestyle! The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, simple cookware, and dishes. As an amenity, we have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, toothpaste, and slippers. There is air conditioning in the living room on the first floor and in the bedroom on the second floor! There is no washing machine, but "Shirakiku Laundry" is a 1-minute walk away! If you come by car, there is a paid coin parking lot in front of the building, so I can guide you! We await your visit!!
