Note: Until April/May, construction work is ongoing in the street during the day on weekdays. There is no through traffic and the place is perceived as quiet with exciting views of a historic neighborhood that is being completely refurbished to its former glory. From the generous private balcony on the 5th floor, you can enjoy the lovely views of the city centre and the Gandsfjord. It is a 10 minute stroll along the promenade into the center of Sandnes with its associated shops, center and good selection in restaurants and cultural life. Alternatively 10m to nearest bus stop.

My childhood home, your resort

Welcome to my childhood home, built in 1959 by my father on my grandfather's farm. The house is a living piece of local history, well preserved and appreciated by three generations. Since it was built, Grandpa's farm has become part of a downtown residential area, a lovely association of new and old homes. We took over this house after my parents in 2010, and we're proud to share it with you. By staying here, you will have an authentic experience of a typical Norwegian family house from the 50s.

The Cowboy Cabin in Sandnes

Our very tiny Cowboy Cabin was built after repeated visits to the motel The Old West Inn, in Willits, CA (USA). The house was first planned as a playhouse, then it became more advanced and has served as a playhouse and guest house. Electricity and wifi are installed, cabin toilet and cabin sink (there is no shower). There is a fire pit, sundeck on the roof with sun from morning to evening, if the sun is shining. The cabin is tiny, but has many smart solutions for good well-being and coziness.

Here you can easily get to the pulpit, Lysebotn, Kjerag, the Royal Park and not least the beautiful sandy beaches on Jæren. The apartment is brand new. We have a fully functional kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. We have beds for up to 8 persons. It is possible to add extra mattresses if needed for even more people. My place is close to public transportation, with a direct bus to the airport. 13 min drive from the airport.
