Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sparrow’s Worth is a quaint cottage filled with reclaimed floors and staircase from an 1860’s Virginia farmhouse. The upstairs bedroom welcomes you with mix of old and repurposed furniture. The small attached bath has a raised toilet and a shower. Notice the old radio from Baltimore, MD converted to a vanity. Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.
