Schomburgk Cottage- Gawler- private, cozy, unique.

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Come and experience what is believed to be the barn which has been converted into a cozy and private space for two. We have tried to retain as many historic features of the cottage while making sure it is modern and comfortable. We still have a lot to do and will continuing works between guests. The cottage has a quirky attic bedroom accessed by a steep set of stairs. Very much like a tiny house. Please keep that in mind when booking.

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Rogasch Cottage

Situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley and nestled amidst 9 acres of vineyard, this fully renovated 1860's cottage is only 5 minutes walk to Tanunda's coffee shops and restaurants With magnificent vineyard and rural views you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in the heated plunge pool or enjoying the comfort of an open fire place. We border Glen Ewin Function Centre, Inglewood Inn is a short drive, and a 45 Minute drive to the Barossa. Private access with car park.
