Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hamilton County

This is the quintessential cottage in the woods. Rustic and charming, the furnishings were simple but comfortable. I loved that the well-equipped kitchen had open shelf and cubby storage, which made it easy to find what I needed and to store and stash our goods. Sadly, We didn’t have time to explore the beautiful area - although we did slip over to Suck creek which we could hear burbling from the house. Lots of chalk marks on the big boulders around the creek - a climbers’ dream. Hiking trails in every direction, and so many beautiful swimming holes. This would be such a great couples stay for the outdoor inclined and any kid’s dream weekend. Susanna was quick to respond and welcoming. We will look for availability again in the future !

LOVED this place! I came with a group of friends and we loved every second. Perfect for a group, but also can’t wait to come back with my family! Peaceful and beautiful. Daniel and his team were great hosts and very communicative!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. We had enough beds and bedroom space for everyone to be comfortable, my twin 11 year old grandsons thought they had died and gone to heaven with the theatre room, especially when they realized it was "their room" to sleep in! The hot tub was enjoyed by all of us many evenings during our stay and the convenience of having a washer and dryer was much appreciated. We find the North Shore/Red Bank area location to be the best for getting to all the attractions and restaurants we have come to enjoy during our multipe visits to the area - now that we have found the North Chatt Hangout we are thinking it will be our "home away from home" for future visits!

We needed something at the last minute for a quick getaway for spring break and Stewart’s place was the perfect spot for our family. Everything was as stated in the listing and Stewart was great with communicating with us. Location is perfect - quick drive to all the attractions and restaurants. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quick family friendly home.

My family and I (5 adults and 3 children) spent 3 nights here and couldn’t have been happier with this home. We had plenty of space and the kids really enjoyed the basement tv/play area and the bunk bed room. All the rooms were nicely furnished and decorated, comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had anything and everything we needed and I was impressed with the quality of everything - from pots/pans/appliances/dishes to linens, paper products, coffee, etc. The location was ideal and only a short drive to most of the activities we had planned in advance. While there are houses pretty close on either side, it still felt very private and peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the main back deck, which had great Mtn views in the distance, and also played a lot with the kids in front of the house. Check-in and access was seamless, and Travis was proactive with communication and information sharing. All-in-all, this was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in via Airbnb! Highly recommended!!

This home was beautiful and the neighborhood was peaceful. Lisa gave us some muffins that were absolutely incredible!

This home is wonderful! It had everything we needed with two toddlers and more! Plenty of the essentials you need when traveling with little ones— laundry and dish detergent, clean towels, a huge toy room with endless fun, and coffee. :) Beds were super comfy, and the home is quiet and peaceful and is close to all the attractions. Hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

We enjoyed our stay! The host did a great job communicating all the details before and during our trip. The room was very clean and decorated so cute. We appreciated being able to take our dog. There was an area in the back that we could walk her around. My only concern was I didn’t realize initially how close the airbnb was to a busy road so we needed to make sure to have her on a leash 24/7. The back area had a nice fire pit and picnic area to enjoy. Thank you for a great experience!

This place is great to spend some vacation time in Chattanooga. Super convenient location close to everything you want to see in the city. Great condo with everything you need to have a great stay in the city

It was beautiful condo and an even better view of the river. Very peaceful! We enjoyed our stay! The host was very responsive. We had a couple little issues the night of check in but they were addressed and fixed right away. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again in the future.

Our stay was cozy and peaceful. Five minutes from anything you need. Easy parking, easy insurance. Very friendly host, much more than I was expecting as far as square footage. Comfortable and everything we needed! I would love to stay again.

We were only staying for a weekend and we checked in on Friday evening. We were able to enjoy a firepit by the river and make S'mores. We were a large group of nine, and accommodations were great! Plenty of room!. The teenagers enjoyed the foosball table. Saturday it rained hard all day and evening so we explored Chattanooga . We didn't get to really use the river since it rained (and there were tornado watchs and warnings all evening) but we still had a great time!

Fantastic space and Michael was a great, responsive host. Highly recommend for anyone on a fishing trip or just who want to enjoy the river!

Wonderful place to get away and relax! We got to experience an unforgettable sunset from the front porch. The peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. The goats and chickens were an added bonus and very friendly.

Absolutely gorgeous cabin that is well worth the stay! We wanted a few days to have a peaceful getaway and that’s absolutely what we got with this property. The cabin is beautiful - excellent construction, high class finishes, lovely design. The king bed was comfortable, and the place has all the amenities you could want. Looking out the windows every morning and seeing the gorgeous trees was exactly what we needed! As an added bonus, they are just 10 minutes away from a local university that has over 40 miles of gorgeous hiking trails, so we were able to hike every single day and really enjoy our surroundings. They are also very close to Chattanooga, so we got to go to Rock City and the aquarium while we were there. Overall, a great experience and I definitely recommend!

A peaceful and private countryside escape just minutes from Ooltewah! This stay was everything we hoped for—quiet, charming, and full of character. Cynthia was incredibly accommodating, even with our last-minute booking. If you’re looking for an authentic Tennessee homestead experience, this is it. The goats (and their loyal guard dog, Sampson) were an absolute delight—feeding them treats was such a fun touch. One of our favorite memories was watching our daughter on the big tree swing and our dog exploring the fenced yard as the sun set. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We loved staying here. Beautiful location that balances peaceful nature with being close to downtown Chattanooga. House is cozy and well appointed, hosts do an awesome job giving you all the essentials and more. We hiked, ate a ton, and just relaxed. Thank you so much!

This is an amazing home, on a beautiful location and with fantastic hosts. The home is just like the pictures - wonderful beds, stocked kitchen, new coffee pot!!, new carpets, amazing hot tub and a fantastic fire pit. The most amazing view from a mountain top overlooking a great valley. Owners are responsive and easy to reach. Truly everything we 3 cousins need for a restful stay.
