We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We liked that we could stay out in the country but still be close enough to explore Chattanooga, and it was an easy hour drive up to Fall Creek Falls State Park. The cottage was lovely and cozy and had a lot of character.

Cabin in the woods ! 7 min from downtown !

This custom built rustic log home is about 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Lookout Mountain is about 5 miles from the cabin. We can sleep up to 11 guests. Many large rooms for relaxing & a kids corner! We have several relaxing rocking chairs on our front porch & back screened in porch with a custom bar area and 2 charcoal grills. There are lake views from the front porch as well. Enjoy canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, and bon fires. (We provide a canoe, paddle board, & poles)

The view from this cabin is beautiful! Either sit on the living room couch or on the deck and enjoy the lovely view of the lake. It is situated on a level, wooded lot that is a great getaway. Perfect for paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, etc. We have a paddle boat and a flat bottom boat with a trolling motor for guests to use. In close vicinity to hiking, off-roading, paragliding, rock climbing and many other activities. Deerhead Lake in Dunlap is 55 mins from Chattanooga, TN.

It was everything a lake house should be. We relaxed, saw lots of wildlife and it was convenient to Chattanooga. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I appreciate that it was stocked with paper products, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent and so forth so that we didn’t have to purchase every little thing and could just enjoy ourselves.

Katrena was very responsive, accommodating and friendly! We stayed at her place last year as well, and were so excited to come back and spend the weekend again! The house and views are beautiful! The lake is a short walk and the space is clean and has a ton of room! I would recommend this house to anyone staying relatively close to the Chattanooga area, because it is great!

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, Brian and Dana offer the perfect place! There is nothing like waking up to the view outside their back door. This was our first time visiting the area and Dana was very responsive and helpful with all our questions. We brought down our boat and having the dock to use was also very nice - there's a boat launch just right down the road that is also very convenient. The home has everything you need......except your clothes and toothbrush! :)

This was my first Airbnb experience. I'm not sure how to judge/compare the pricing. I believe it was priced more reasonable than a hotel with many more amenities. Thanksgiving weekend with family. Wasn't looking for outside activities. There were day trips and lots of walks. Home was warm and comfortable. Kitchen provided most everything I needed. Appliances in good working order. Theresa was gracious, a good communicator, flexible and accommodating.

Bethany’s place exceeded our expectations!! We had 12 people total and there was ample room for everyone to sleep, hang out, and do their own thing. The view was beautiful and the lake was so nice! surprisingly warm!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My fiancé and I came to visit the area because we were attending a dance competition for his daughters. The area is very beautiful. Mr. Gary was very kind and responsive. The weekend we attended had severe weather that came out of nowhere. We were sight seeing and he alerted us on what was going to happen and how to prepare for safety. Very happy with our stay. The place is clearly well taken care of and I think the price was very fair. If you like to plan ahead, I’d say the kitchen area is relatively small and didn’t have proper chef knives. I was planning on cooking but wanted to keep things simple and had to reconsider what was feasible. Also FYI we didn’t have cell reception in that area. Wifi worked great though, I was even able to work and take video calls.
